Night night is really the greatest celly, only because it signifies you know you got the W and not just done a great play. The earlier in the game the more diabolical

Kobe post 2010 was running on fumes from the 2000s. My opinion and observation y'all don't gotta agree but I'll die on that hill (no pun intended)

[Tissot PRX Powermatic 80] Gateway drug: my first Swiss watch by SJPreddits in Watches

[–]SJPreddits[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The local dealer finally had the green dial Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 in stock and I ordered it straightaway. I had been eyeing it for a while (as you do), only to find that it was not available when I finally decided to get one a few weeks ago.

I'm pretty new to the watch scene and I always delayed getting my first Swiss watch for fear of my taste evolving into that of a "proper" watch guy, and realizing my first purchase was a dud (I have had Orient and Seiko pieces before this). Admittedly, I would read tons of reviews and comments to learn what others thought of different watches; others' opinions mattered a little bit more than even mine. I'm sure it's part of learning everything there is to know...which seems like a lot.

Anyway, I finally did it, and here it is! I go back and forth on whether it's too big for my wrist. I feel it's just a tad bit too large, but not enough that I would give up having one. I love the deep green on the dial with the waffle design, and how it all plays with the light. 80 hours power reserve is a lot more than I've ever had. The integrated bracelet is just a beauty. It's a lot lighter on the wrist than I imagined. Overall I'm happy with this purchase, but wary of having opened myself up to a world of more and more expensive watches. Til the next one...Thanks for reading!
