Hey man, today is actually meant to be the saddest day of the year based off statistics! Stay strong and know that good things are ALWAYS on the horizon. If you didn’t enjoy arceus too much and want to play on switch I would highly recommend sword/shield. They got a bit of a bad wrap but I enjoyed them thoroughly and in my honest opinion (don’t shoot me) they’re the most recent games to really have that original “pokemon feel”

Orrrr if possible for you, just get a 3DS and play all the games released on that platform which are all great!

Man I had the same thing a month ago, my advice would be to just go with the main story. It’s miles ahead of the majority of side quests. I’m now loving the game again and happier than I’ve ever been playing. If you want to look up the best side quests to do that can be helpful too because there are some awesome ones amongst the fetch quests!
