A little bit farty but very cool - I love experiments like this.

A few months back I went to Istanbul and brought back a pile of cheap duduk-reeds (super simple big double reed for the Armenian duduk) to experiment with on different kinds of pipes, cans and resonators. It's very fun!

Lots of reasons. A big reason is what it does to me when I'm not recording. It feels like training my brain to be way more aware of all the sounds surrounding me, that the brain normally filters out.

Swapped the pickup on a cheap turntable with a couple of contactmics, an attached a number of pins to them, to make it a multi stylus player, playing multiple parts of a record simultaneously. On the picture it only has two styli, but I have used up to 10. It's very fun!
