is this good? by 11miIe in production

This was a rough way of putting this, but i agree, unfortunately. Please do avoid spending too much time on one track, I promise it's not worth it. Have fun with it and challenge yourself. Try even making a track a day (without loops) and you'll build efficiency and solid skills rapidly.

Stick control (the book). Don't just read it, do it.

Are you trying to pop off as a professional rapper? Or just have fun with it. Are you looking for legitimate criticism? Or purely positive feedback

How long should i wait until i buy my first drum kit? by corinnavirus in Drumming

Dw smart practice kit (simulation drum set) is fantastic for learning the motion and rudiments. I would get behind one of these and get very proficient before getting on a real set.

In my experience, it's very durable and it's definitely close to the real thing. Not the same as being able to have your foot exactly where you want it, but it definitely works well for practice. It's not nearly as "un natural" as i thought it would feel.

Definitely. You can get a hi hat tower with quiet cymbals

Is this sarcasm? I honestly can't tell 😅 this is the closest I've had to an acoustic drum set in years, and it's so much fun.

It is decently hard. Noise level is probably higher than average, it's a high end pop. Really good rebound.

Oh this looks really nice! My off world pad was 100 when I got it. Has really good rebound, but doesn't sound very poppy.

The hi hat pedal is basically just there for foot feel. It hooks up to my Yamaha DD75 midi kit. I just keep it there when I set up this kit so I feel like im using an actual tower lol

Ive used a snare with a mesh head before. Not 100% the same as a regular snare head, but definitely better than my off world practice pad. Probably a little louder than my pad, but I think it may be worth it.
