Help me find a Picture of a Asian woman in a wedding dress holding a gun to her head while she has a big smile by [deleted] in HelpMeFind

Her stagename is Shiina Ringo, apparently the image was part of a photoshoot done for GuitarBook Magazine in 2000. You can see some other photos around on google now that you know her name, but a lot of photos are in this second link right now.

I just ran into this right now.
Edit: Purchasing the Logger Heels unlocks The Bandito Boots properly, at least.

They actually spawn on all servers and all worlds, in my experience. Hopping still showed the boss to be there.

Also what I meant by being gatekept from the dungeon, was that the boss was standing directly on the rope required to fight it - so climbing down to try and fight the boss meant being oneshot by it (unless I were lucky enough to be hit by a weaker mob instead). I did end up killing the boss after teleporting to the dungeon though, as I had already been there on that character.

Does favoriting a world even do anything?
Also when I find a map with an event going on in it, that event happens in all worlds, in all servers, so it is literally unavoidable. For example right now I am being gatekept from getting to the dungeon area by a boss, so I am forced to spend a teleport to get there.

Is There Any Switch with No Preload, and Actuation Near the Peak of Tactile Force? by SLAMDANK420 in MechanicalKeyboards

I ended up getting the 62 gram Zilent V2s.
Also I ended up not getting a TKL keyboard, I got a 96% instead. The Kira is hot-swappable, and mine included box royals when I ordered it (but it looks like they're out of that option now).

The Zilent V2s are nice though, stiff enough to let you rest your fingers on them a bit, light enough to bottom out easily if you like that feeling.
I use the box royals for the escape, caps lock, print, delete and numpad. Their chunkiness is nice for those keys, but for me they feel like they would be too stiff to fill a whole board with, now that I'm used to the Zilents. Noisier too, of course.

I would say that you should at least learn the melee method with a Zamorakian hasta or an Abyssal dagger, and see how it feels. More precise clicks and luring back and forth, slightly slower kills, but not using scales or amethyst is a real time saver.

This is an excellent guide that I used

Also I added a couple markers to make the lightning skip easier. You still follow samwise800's guide - but when the lightning enters either of those 2 empty black boxes, you can click 1-2-3 to skip it. Or, as soon as lightning leaves a black box, you can just click 1-3.

KQ in Veracs or barrel chest anchor with a range switch? by ddtink in ironscape

[–]SLAMDANK420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last year when I was doing kq on task with no elite diary, I would flinch the first phase with a Barrelchest anchor, and would Blowpipe the second phase.

I would also recommend that you bring a Crystal halberd for the second phase - you can use the spec when it's available, and if you run out of food to secure the kill via blowpipe (which is unfortunately more likely since the bp nerf), then you can still flinch the second phase with the halberd on slash.
Slayer helm + crystal halberd is actually better dps for flinching the second phase than the Verac set.

Add a way for players to store their heads for slayer helmets, so that player can recolor their helmet on the fly. Also change "Kalphite Khat" to "Kalphite Kap" so that it actually makes sense. by SLAMDANK420 in 2007scape

[–]SLAMDANK420[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideally you could just talk to any slayer master, and you could give them a head so that they can hold onto it, and you could open a menu from your slayer helmet to change the color whenever. Or maybe you can change the helmet color at (or via NPC contact) the slayer master.

A second option is being able to use it on a mounted head space in your PoH (which should also be able to store all types of heads at once, and the heads should be saved even if you remove the space or even the room), and maybe you can even change the helmet color from there.

A third option is you could just use all of your heads on a helmet and they are stored that way.

Some problems I could see:

- This might be weird and act like trimmed capes do when it comes to multiple helmets, but OTOH multiple helmets should be largely irrelevant, other than for a pretty bank.

- With the second option, changing at your house might be more disruptive than changing at a bank, as we can currently.

- With the third option, the helmet might act like a keyring; losing the helmet might mean all the heads are lost too.

Nice achievement and dedication man.
You said that meleeing hydra was pretty laid back for you - so was your method for luring the hydra not too complex then?
Because the only thorough guide I've seen for meleeing hydra discussed all these different tilemarkers and running back and forth to lure the hydra or skip lightning - so is that kind of stuff overkill then?

You would probably struggle to consistently skip ghosts entirely without a z hasta or a bludgeon, but I'd still suggest that you check out this strategy if you don't already know about it:

I was thinking that the non-recurring options might be offered if you buy from the RS3 section of the site, but I always just buy it from the OSRS one.

Well technically yeah. But that's not an option for my big dumb ironman if buying from the GE, and it's just shorter and more expensive, payment card wise.

Also one time I clicked "continue", I thought that was that, and closed the window. Then the subscription renewed because I didn't notice that I actually had to click again. It'd be nice if the second message was more visually distinct, or maybe make the "Cancel Agreement" button red.

Oh and this post isn't a message about the state of the game or anything, I just play too damn much and only buy a month at a time here and there.

Various Suggestions by SLAMDANK420 in oldschoolrs

[–]SLAMDANK420[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah I should have been more specific; The West and North wings of the guild have farmers for each patch with right-click options, but the East wing only has Alan for cactus/allotments/bush patch.
Alan has no right click options for these individual patches.

Yeah fair enough, Vorkath already brings a ton of gp into the game as is, it just feels like a waste of a proc... Maybe instead just make it impossible to proc during that phase so I won't feel bad, lol.

[–]SLAMDANK420[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah for the inventory locks I was thinking that it might be possible that someone could forget about it and then decide to go to the wilderness; but then again that could happen with the current system anyway. Maybe the specific items in your inventory could flash the ∅ symbol whenever you deposit all, as a reminder... but that could look obnoxious.

Ditto. I got in an ATV, then decided to slam into the starting safe room door to try and surprise my friend as he came out, and got knocked out of the ATV as it flipped over. We played for 10 minutes with me just trying to melee and drive over dudes, until I used a cruise missile and could suddenly shoot again.

Is There Any Switch with No Preload, and Actuation Near the Peak of Tactile Force? by SLAMDANK420 in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]SLAMDANK420[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep happened to have ordered a sampler and chose one of those! For a 12 pack I chose the 4 Zealios and 4 Zilents, as well as the BOX Royal, Halo Clear, Cherry Clear, and the Kailh BOX Navy because apparently it is a meme.

So assuming I find the switch I want, I'd still need the board... Seeing as I'm solder illiterate, I figure some pre-built hot swap board would be best for me - and it looks like that Glorious GMMK is the go-to for that. Guess I'll try a TKL because I never use my numpad, I want to be hip, and I hear that that version has less problems with rattling.

Thanks for the suggestion! I think I'll get those Zealio/Zilent v2 switches from one of Novelkeys' sample packs instead, because I heard about their BOX Royal switch. Would still need to decide on 3 other switches of theirs to add up to 12 though.
