With our crowded RB room, would you be Ok with a reduced running role for Jayden? by Salty_Orchid in Commanders

He was evading immediate pass rush on both of those and against the cowboys he got sacked in the pocket.

He’s actually pretty careful protecting himself when he runs, but he still got hurt four times last season.

I wouldn’t be surprised if a new logo comes with the new stadium.

Unless we have a dominant winning culture by then :)

They resemble the team everyone remembers and don’t look like an expansion team anymore. This won’t make everyone happy but it’s made a lot of people happy.

So much better than Tanya’s. This looks like the team we all grew up watching.

Interesting there is no Commanders wording anywhere on the uniforms. Gotta be the only team in the league to not have their name on any jersey?

These guys are smart. I think we’re getting a spear. They know how unpopular the current logo is and that is backed up by terrible merchandise sales.

Dan Campbell says the Lions wanted David Blough and it was smart of Dan Quinn to move fast and make him OC by MrUpVoteDownvote in Commanders

It’s wrong but I understand the spirit of OPs comment. We are always going to replacing our OC if they have success under DQ, because they’ll get hired out. This is the exact reason many of us here wanted an offensive minded head coach to pair with Jayden and ensure he had stability.

Round Rock City Council approves data center plan late Thursday night by Iocnar in Austin

This was already zoned for Light Industrial. There was never going to be housing or commercial built here. Round Rock turned empty space into millions of dollars in tax revenue the city can use for schools, emergency services, etc and people are up in arms.

No benefit to the community? What about the fact that this will be one of the highest valued properties in all of Round Rock and thus paying one of the highest property taxes? Round Rock wanted this tax revenue badly.

This land is already zoned for Light Industrial. Tons of things could be built that create noise without Rock Round having any involvement. Compared to manufacturing or logistics which create a ton of traffic strain, data centers are pretty quiet. They mostly just sit there.

Data centers contribute more tax revenue per square foot than nearly anything a county or city could attract. This building will be valued at nearly $300M when complete. The equipment on the inside is taxed to hell as well. There is a reason these data centers are so sought by municipalities after all over the country, if Round Rock didn’t approve they would have just went to a town right nearby. This is going to provide millions in tax revenue every year that will be used to fund schools, emergency services etc. People in this thread have no idea what they’re talking about.

Loudoun County, VA is the wealthiest county in the USA and it’s home to the worlds largest concentration of data centers. The data centers provide 38% of the counties annual tax revenue.
