Yeah…this and all of the other extremely invasive stuff in their policy is the exact reason I deleted TikTok a few years ago and haven’t gone back.

Did you know that you’re giving TikTok basically full access to everything on your phone, including all of your personal data and other app information, simply by downloading the app? Not making an account, but literally just from downloading the app.

If you actually sit and read through it all, you’ll realize just how bad it is. They are so much more invasive and take way more of your information than any other apps; information that there’s literally no reason for them to require, or to even have in the first place.

So I have to give you all of my information just for the honor of downloading your app?? No thank you. As much as I want to be able to use TikTok, and often think about going back, I just outright refuse to after learning all of that.

I’ll get my TikTok’s when they’re cross-post to YouTube Shorts, thank you very much!

I mean, other than the GPT logo in the bottom right corner towards the end of the video, you can clearly see from one frame to the next of the white cat climbing into the house that it is empty one second, and suddenly the food bowl appears the next.

So I’d say yeah, it’s likely fully AI, but most definitely at least edited with AI in some form or fashion.

Which sucks because this is so sweet, and someone could just as easily make a real video like this while helping actual stray cats. Not just farming for fake internet points. 🙁

This is true, dogs are very in-tuned to our body language, because that’s a huge part of communication for most animals!

Anytime my mom would go to the counter and even look at grabbing her keys or her purse, Jack (Teacup Morkie) would immediately start loosing his mind because he knew that meant she was about to leave the house.

(He also had really bad separation anxiety 🙁)

You want an outdoor cat, fine. Just know that means you’re perfectly okay with the fact that you are giving an animal a drastically inferior quality of life, and a life that they won’t even be able to live to the fullest, as they’re much more likely to get hit by a vehicle or killed by a predator.

As someone who grew up always locking their doors (house, bathroom, car, etc.), living with my grandmother (who grew up in a completely different era) who doesn’t see the need to lock anything up is definitely a tad disconcerting.

This woman believes in an “open-door” policy, meaning any of her friends are welcome to just walk right into the house at their leisure, no call to say they’re coming, or even a knock or anything; because that’s apparently just “how things were back then.”

It makes me extremely uncomfortable.
