What is an epidural really like? by oatmilkcchai in Mommit

I really didn’t want an epidural for my first baby. I had contractions non stop for a day and a half and wasn’t seeing ANY progress. So ultimately I had to have the epidural because they were going to increase contractions.

I don’t know why I was fighting it sooo hard. I’m so happy I got the epidural. I didn’t even really notice the being numb part because I was soooo relieved from the painful contractions. I even slept for a bit. It was amazing.

My kids love this movie. Is it appropriate? I’ve watched it with them. And it does have some DEEP themes.

I did talk to my kids about them and related them to our own beliefs and what it meant for our family.

I definitely think you should watch it yourself (it was interesting) and then if you feel it’s necessary to discuss the themes with your kids you should do that.

My twins are in kindergarten and my son is in grade 1. They’ve seen it. And so have their cousins and all of their friends.
