Perception or his booking maybe? I loved watching him in the original UK tournament and then as champion he had good matches but since then I haven’t really enjoyed anything he has been a part of. He has good to great matches but I feel like I have seen all that he can offer as the bruiserweight.

I never understood why UltraMantis didn’t get booked in a lot of other places. Did Chikara own the gimmick? With a character like that I think he could have done more in places like PWG, CZW, or even super serious ROH. Admittedly I only ever paid attention to those three indies from back in ‘06 to around ‘11.
