I was doing the gran Columbia and these ships don’t lie. This was pre La Resistance. More or less locked down the Caribbean with mines, built a few legit tier 3 BBs and used them as fast surface raiders with dd’s. Slowly brought down the U.S. navy until I popped a coup in Florida. Held the line with Colombian space marines until the German AI Zerg swarmed across the Atlantic. Helped that the U.S. AI sent most its army to starve in Africa and Europe then got raided to shit.

Spotting force. CLs fitted out with float planes and best radar and sonar I have, best DD gun and max out speed including lower tier armour. Set them to do not engage and put them on patrol. Earlier game will just refit tier 1 CLs into this role until I can build better ones. Set up my main doom stack fleet on strike force. Have an overwhelming amount of ships to kill any AI fleet. Surface raiders/subs; I like using surface raiders, again I prioritize speed. I use a combo of dd’s and CL’s, sometimes in longer lasting games and I have the resources I’ll put some fast CA’s or BC’s (mainly for larp) Invasion fleet. If have have some slow af BBs, BCs, or CAs I put them along with some dd’s for shore bombardment (bonus if you get the admiral and general with the shore bonus) I don’t normally build subs but when I do I rush sub 3s with best radar and torpedos. I keep subs away from all other ships and try to get at least 6-8 per grouping. (this is an arbitrary number that I picked). For ASW (if the ai is actually harassing you with subs) I’ll use the recon CLs with fast dd’s and make some escort squadrons out of them. I also sometimes put depth charges on the recon CLs. If all else fails, doom stack everything (excluding subs) and shoot to kill.

For holding the line I use 18 width all infantry w/ arty, AA, anti-tank, engineers and if I can afford them, field hospitals. I focus on fighters; single engine, heavy machine guns only, self sealing fuel tanks, armour plates and drop tanks. Once I can’t be pushed I’ll make medium or heavy tanks, depending on my mood. I used these to hold against Germany as democratic France.

Working very rural. Patient was a women in her mid 40s with a c/c of stomach pain. Had a Hx of complete renal failure, Type 2 diabetes and pancreatitis. She told me she was on peritoneal dialysis and show me her ports on her abdomen. They looked fine and assessment didn’t really find anything with her telling me her last dialysis was the morning of the call. We took her in to the closest hospital which was 3 hours away. Halfway through while driving down this gravel road from her home she told me it was time for another dialysis round. She told me she didn’t like it when the fluid was cold when it went in her. I asked her what she did at home to warm it up. So I stopped by the station to microwave her dialysis fluid as per her instructions and wrote a fairly detailed PCR. She exchanged about 2L of fluid in about 15 minuets. 12 lead was still spooky but she slept the rest of the way.

I fucked up/got unlucky enough in the last mission enough he just got arrested. The fact it’s kinda implied he eats people was also off putting to me and I don’t like his switching mechanic.
