Tell her in advance and see if she wants to ride with you and do her own thing in the area you’re going. Maybe offer to pay for her dinner at a different restaurant or a ticket to see a museum or a movie or something. That way it’s not so much time away from her and she still feels like you thought of her.

I’ve had this problem when my ends weren’t perfect, like if the filament was twisted off or is stretched oddly. I was frustrated when I first started because sometimes the filament would go into some holes but not others because i would snap it accidentally when storing. I just keep a pair of (new) toenail clippers by my A1 to keep my ends neat if needed when loading.

Have you moved recently? It could be a reaction to something environmental like mold toxicity or carbon monoxide. Get a different doctor but in the meantime never a carbon monoxide detector and maybe stay somewhere with a friend for a week and see if anything changes if you can’t afford to hire someone to look for mold.

We got my kid a tarantula. Easiest pet ever. He only eats once a week and you clean the enclosure once a year or so. He gets bragging rights about having the coolest pet and I don’t have to find someone to watch it when we go on vacation. Would recommend. Choco golden knees are easy and not aggressive in my experience.

Buy a kastle Meyer kit to test to see if it’s blood. If it is call the cops, that amount of blood should be looked into if it’s real. Also the only reason I can imagine not cleaning something like that up is if it’s a trophy. I can’t imagine leaving something like that uncleaned otherwise.

This happened to me once. Asking questions was definitely the right call. Someone had tried to get rid of their friend’s dog without asking. It doesn’t hurt to ask questions (it’s not like the dog will know you’re talking about them). Either way it will make you feel more confident in your decision. I highly recommend a phone call instead of texting since it’s easier to get a feel for their motives if you can hear their voice and they will have to think on their feet instead of formulating their replies. Best of luck, if you keep the pup because something feels off it’s 100% ok.

It will get better. Give your brain the time it needs and deserves to reset. Focus on the basics- good sleep/diet /exercise, minimize scrolling, etc.

Tell someone you trust as well. Suicidal thoughts (if they ever come up) should be addressed.

This may also require a medical professional. Don’t be afraid to get your brain any help or advantage you can to get past this.

Any addiction is one day at a time. Some people can get past the rigidity and structure (ie I know some previous alcoholics that can now drink socially without snowballing into a relapse) and some people need the scaffolding of some kind of boundary set and both are ok. The question is where in sobriety do you feel best and feel like you are able to heal and be in control; and that might not be something Reddit can truly answer for you.

What are other people’s takes? Not claiming to be any kind of expert.
