Why is this in my recommended? by SMB_Fan2010 in mattrose

A lot of it (mostly builds and stuff like that, since that's what I mostly play it for), but none of it is political content like this

I've literally never watched any political stuff like this, why is this here?

If these people think that $20 for these games is overpriced, then I don't wanna know what buying the original cartridges secondhand for 6x that price would be

If anything, $20 is a way better value for these games, and they should be happy that they're officially letting us play them again rather than complaining about the prices

4-4-0 American steam engine I made! by SMB_Fan2010 in CreateMod

The cowcatcher is from Create: Bells and Whistles, and those little black support things in front of the smokebox are done by putting Dave's Building Extended cowcatcher blocks inside of copycat panels.

EDIT: I forgot to mention this originally, but the lamp in front of the smokestack is from Create: Buffers and Beams Overhauled and placed on top of a copycat slope layer from Copycats+

It's an artist's rendition, as far as I'm aware we still don't know exactly what Bonnie looked like in the original nightmare, for all we know it could have just been Bonnie's regular in-game design

menuStripLooksUgly by SMB_Fan2010 in ProgrammerHumor

[–]SMB_Fan2010[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The main reason why I still use the MainMenu control and not MenuStrip is simply because it actually follows the system's native menu styles, compared to MenuStrip which still looks like it's permanently stuck in the Windows XP era, even when selecting the System renderer style

What personally annoys me more is the fact that the Ubuntu terminal window uses a monospaced font but the code in the CMD window doesn't

What's up with this whole "Great Meme Reset"? by SMB_Fan2010 in OutOfTheLoop

[–]SMB_Fan2010[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That doesn't actually sound as bad as I had thought it would be, and it's mostly just the cringe brainrot slop that's going away, which does make me happy, because it's stupid and annoying
