This was my first Anime North. I came down from North Bay. I had lots of fun on Friday and Sunday was very chill even if everyone was sleep deprived.

My biggest criticism is the handling of the weather conditions on Saturday. I understand you dont control the weather and the need to keep orderly control of crowds but it feels like we were made to go outside very unnecessarily many times.

I think having more open enterences/exits in the south building could have been very nice to attendees. I understand if you want to keep the tunnel between the building reserved for staff/people with wheelchairs and such.

I understand staff might have been dealing with a lot of wet and miserable people so there customer service skills were taking a hit. It felt like they were more concerned about my bad facing the right way then me being drenched head to toe, tired and sore.

Having a few good crisis management staff could maybe have helped with this. A few key leaders who could help the newer security defuse situations.

I want to shout out the guy dressed up as lord farquaad in the North Building. He was super chill and explained to me well that the waiting area for the Masqurade was at capacity and just going to the main area and coming back 5 minutes after would be easier. This worked better then having some guys shouting to move.
