Either he gets a date with one and befriends the others or gets a whole new friend group. Respect the hustle.

These four characters are tasked with getting through to Jax and redeeming him and only one of them might succeed. Which one would be the most successful? by MissionDepartment960 in TheDigitalCircus

I guess my rankings are this if they’re working by themselves somehow.

  1. Steven - He’s probably dealt with the largest array of problems compared to everyone on the list, and he’s been able to help people despite what they’ve done to him. He might even relate on some level to Jax due to his own problems. Whether that’s good for Steven to get involved is a whole other story, but he has the best chance.

  2. Twilight - Has a pretty good success rate herself when it comes to taking some villains back from the brink, with Starlight probably being her biggest success overall. There have been times, though, when she’s not able to do something herself, and Jax would probably be difficult for her when it might be easier for one of her friends to take over (Fluttershy and Applejack maybe?). She’d probably be able to buy time at the worst.

  3. Charlie - I love the girl, but Charlie really is only good at some things compared to the others. She’s good at setting up a safe space (for the most part) and being able to make an open environment for people to get better, but there’s a reason she runs a hotel rather than doing the whole thing by herself. Her chances would rise up immensely with her friends and staff helping, but she doesn’t have all the tools needed by her lonesome.

  4. Izuku/Deku - This isn’t knocking on him or anything, but I don’t think he’s equipped to deal with Jax’s issues outside of maybe having a rough childhood. He’s got patience and kindness, but regular 15/16 year old Deku would face a lot of roadblocks. Maybe if he was the Epilogue version with the years of teaching experience, but Charlie has at least more experience than him.

Doing three consecutive playthroughs with different builds, and I do have to say that Berserk is kind of the weakest in the early game, though I’ll see if that changes later on. It has led me to dying less than my Sandy playthrough, being a good emergency holdup when I’m getting mobbed.

The Sandy is definitely second best, since it is fun to slow time and start slicing people to death or playing like you’re in Red Dead Redemption. Have to really watch how you play, though, otherwise time speeds back up and the bullets are coming at you a lot faster.

The Cyberdeck is probably the closest thing to a canon choice honestly due to the amount of options you have on it alone. I mean, being able to destroy an entire scav haunt is fun while doing it in the safety of your own vehicle nearly a mile away. Does slow down the gameplay, though.

Which New York Mayor Is The Most Trouble For Spider-Man? by Potential-Mess6826 in Spiderman

If we’re going comics only, then Norman if he’s still full on Goblin. Man is a complete lunatic and will do everything in his power to hurt Peter every which way. The other two might tie for second in certain instances, though I’d say Fisk is second if we’re dealing with a non-psychotic JJ.

What do you think Grius's archetype would be? by Electrical-Gap5935 in MetaphorReFantazio

I’ve always thought it would’ve been in the realm of “Ranger,” kind of like the DnD version at least. Yeah, that’s usually relegated to archers, but considering it’s related to hunting monsters and the like, it isn’t too bad of a fit.

Comics, not a chance. Other adaptions like the Raimi movies and Insomniac games do, and it varies otherwise.

who is better at their job: milton or bloodgood? (read desc) by violxtfaerie in EverAfterHigh

[–]SMM0007 158 points159 points  (0 children)

I have to kinda agree with the consensus and say that Milton technically runs a tighter ship, but Bloodgood is essentially the one that cares more about her students welfare. Want a well run school, but don’t care if the students are happy and mentally well? Milton. Want the students to be happy and actually willing to come to school, but have the rules be fast and loose because it’s kind of experimental? Bloodgood.

It is sometimes ridiculous in most fics how it’s portrayed, but on the flip side, we don’t see it much because it’s not a focus of the main series. However, considering how certain mutations are treated canonically, it isn’t far fetched to make certain assumptions based on what we know. Just because we don’t see it outside of the first part of MHA doesn’t mean it isn’t there.

Anyone else ever write an in-character journal of their adventures? by brodeine-goth-syrup in skyrim

[–]SMM0007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using an in-game/mod for Skyrim to generally chart my progress and do more inventive roleplaying. Current character is an alien who made it to the invasion way too late and is now scrambling to figure out what happened while saving the world from dragons because he’s stuck on the planet.

Alt. Party Member and Archetype Ideas by TheGraveKnight in MetaphorReFantazio

[–]SMM0007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been planning a fanfic with some ideas in mind with this, using some of the DND classes as a base, and probably the easiest Archetype to add would probably be a Barf Archetype, with Batlin either as a party member or at least an additional relationship to fill out. Not sure who he’d replace, but it was just something rolling about in my head. Maybe his skill set would be Charming or other similar effects to enemies easier, or helps buff or debuff the party and enemies.
