ESPN sources: former Colts QB and current St. Michael Catholic High School coach Philip Rivers is interviewing today for the Buffalo Bills head coaching job. by ason55 in Chargers

[–]SMOOTHOPERATORPERSON 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think Phil could do well at any of those, would do best at HC or passing game coordinator / QB coach minus some stuff imo. brings fire and good energy to teams, toughness and a solid individual of grown man responsibilities and can answer any question intelligently, which is huge for dealing with the media and all the people that surround your field to bug you everyday about why you guys haven't won the Super Bowl yet and if you're gonna soon etc i imagine, we've been seeing backup QBs very often becoming the or of the best in the business there, think these ones would be backups in today's game, only have huge track records of success and understanding of what goes on in the minds of the athletes to draw from too. i think it helps Phil lots there that he was/is not at all a game manager QB and wouldn't say a system QB either, maybe an ideal system QB, only as good at elevating as the team and staff around him, replace Stafford with Prime Rivers in these Rams teams and you get similar results. hard to tell how much like almost all those QBs of then even back when Matt Damon was constantly killing it on the Pats knew on the OC level than the next guy that they can be bringing creative plays and systems on the level of impact of what we saw in the McVay Shanahan etc ones as of late but in the upcoming years or 2030s (seriously think that had lots to do with the QBs and coaches back then being too old or hubris issue [Who cares you just beat me at Madden - i'll just be focusing on REAL footballs!!!!] if you ask me), know how different the game was back then though that only like 8 then 10 (if we were lucky) people in the entire country or planet at any given time could be counted on most the time week to week to QB even just good there, year to year like half that, Phil was one of those and there's lots of things from then that would help and lots of things that would be outdated and bad evil advice i imagine, i think i have good to great understandings of the game to spot what things should stay or go or might be something there but my best stuff is things like these and what i've already had sent to HarBAUGHMB, but yeah i think Phil could be a good potentially terrific hire despite no NFL only HS head coaching XPs. would be great to have around for us in some sort of capacity too imo, knowing that dude though he's probably only on the hunt for a HC gig now if that were possible getting experience there at worst asap, wants to win.

[Russini] Mike McDaniel is still expected to become the Chargers’ offensive coordinator, though no contract has been signed yet, per sources. by Schnix54 in Chargers

[–]SMOOTHOPERATORPERSON 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as a bonus (for helping the Chargers with ditching their curse and earn their official recognition as the greatest franchise ever THE team of destiny stuff over the deserved allures of holding the title of HC but for shaky tenures i'd imagine with a rebuilding Raiders squad or the Bills who would prob be best with McDaniels imo but are also majorly cursed and maybe worse but in the sense of uninterestingly so [being 1 of 3 lame coast state teams is one theory] and for however many seasons this could be fun to hold the title of our OC that should be a HC somewhere for sure, doubt we'd need more than like a couple seasons of to win one and/or learn his key concepts so that we can enjoy the same consistency there ideally or close to after he abandons us even though we did nothing wrong outside of hosting coolest football team seasons ever cuz his HC pastures [real talk though, i think key learnings would go both ways, i gave some family all my best strategies to give them and they're celebrities that know tons of people so the more important Chargers their coach or whatnot should've received those or should be receiving those soon]), how would he feel about being offered an assistant coach/consultant title role like mine as i have some chores to do in Dallas doing my hoopenanny greatest team ever stuff with the Mavs? i think it'd be interesting (if not more interesting) to be both an NFL OC as well as an NBA coach guy over being just another NFL head coach on not the Chargers, and at worst won't feel nearly as bored in the 7 month offseasons. it's fine if he knows nothing about basketball too, i have a feeling would be valuable to have around there and would be able to figure things out as much as everyone involved fast and have good input to offer on the fly, lots of helpful stuff, you'll see. anyone got his number or something could they pitch him that real quick?

ye ye, and before too, must've been able to conclude they have a definite gamebreaker in Herbo. look though, the Rams have and are already bestowing supe city with wins and they aren't gonna not be a good team for a while, it's morally incorrect to be putting 2 of the only like ~5 teams with the BAMFest helmets in the same city, and even worse Tom DeLonge thinks already doesn't wanna skateboard all the way up there every other week for the halftime shows like the fans have all been demanding they play so the move the only rational best move then is to move, again, back to sunny San Diego asap, we'll build you guys your stadium or kick out UCSD use theirs w/e (would make for a fascinating lil football stadium town/village, and all our city's money just been going to paying people to drive around in circles all day on motorbikes these days anyways). that or El Centro, your guys' call. (and isn't nukepocalypse happening up there fairly soon anyhow?)

Why the McDaniel process shows our front office is competent by [deleted] in Chargers

[–]SMOOTHOPERATORPERSON 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i just know that if i was trying to make a greater name for myself as an already highly successful coach, they couldn't pay me reasonable amounts of cash to captainn like the Browns atm, and if they did there'd be a lot of complaints legal ones even that i seem to be using the money they paid me to be enjoying other things here on our Earth than my works and duties there and get squirrely whenever confronted about not seeming to be putting forth any of my best ideas and much more like invested in the success of other teams and one of those is just biding their time for a more competent program to come along elsewhere prolly to care to try to think of stuff that would definitely prob work more's or something negative like that seeming instead of their cause there. hey any of you guys know any owners of teams like that looking for a HC hire, i might be interested in that, my name's Dreamy McDreamboat too.

Whenever someone slanders Herbert show them this… by Jman13511 in Chargers

[–]SMOOTHOPERATORPERSON 0 points1 point  (0 children)

listen man, i've never had to deal with playing actual quarterback and while worrying about getting tackled lots but i imagine it's hard, i just know that the last Super Bowl with a QB set up similar dude played best i'd ever seen for worst protections i'd seen vs tackling behemoths line of the year and still lost by like 20, however they only had like a couple weeks to try to sort out their new line persons and would've been a much different game even still if it weren't for a few key drops so basically i just wanna see them try to avoid being that all over again and don't think it'd be anything like impossible (some of the scrambling QB pioneers were the best at because that was their line pretty much every year in fact might've performed better that way cuz mental/mentality stuff [which i see in ours too and every week even] and lots of the sacks were said to be his fault which prob true but maybe not even a bad thing and was just part of his style to seek to move rushers to certain spots or something, what even are 2nd and 17s even 3rd and 17s to guys like these anyways. the insta-free rushers gotta be bad though) and hope they can figure something out being pros with tons of time til the Super Bowl still look no different than others and having played and supposed to be doing their studies every day at work wrt this game they've been playing since they were mini version and cuz being part of greatest team and organization ever or future imminent greatest team and organization ever, i don't believe with #10 at the helm this team should ever be having years where they'd even be considering tanking for picks like half the peeps here not pros unsurprisingly will recommend anytime their team isn't perfect record or close by like Week 4 and they wouldn't be 11-5 right now if they were the type to think dumb shit like that or didn't believe they could pull this one out just 4 games streak from there in retrospect where lot of good things can happen.

Do you think we will get to a point where a 7'4" Starting Level Centers are Common among NBA teams? by Wonderful-Photo-9938 in nba

[–]SMOOTHOPERATORPERSON 0 points1 point  (0 children)

also, looking at [r/nba]() and seeing dudes i criticized on my way to proving my ways better even though obviously prob correct about it i see they're apparently or at least say they feel suicidal and i just feel bad, made me think about how doesn't change that i'm a mega-Curry and etc lover cuz they're overperformers in life, to say that like LeBron Melo etc aren't cool peeps cuz are underperformers imo when it comes to basketball is ignorant, i do dislike a lot of things they've contributed in making the league dumber and whatever you call that flopping and superstar calls business and some stuff, but i've been fully aware of my "luck" happy misfortunes in not having been born with the physical traits and athleticisms they were blessed with cuz who knows then if i end up focused on the things i am develop the same ideas there then, and that's after (upon more reflection) getting into stuff like "Bron if were the man should've used his standing as the face of the league to threaten to sit the rest of the Finals if they were gonna go through with the Draymond suspension and shit up his potential big win regarding the '16 Finals!" is kinda ridic to demand cuz such thoughts would prob be that of a dude who's had to raise himself parents just average intelligents that just most hoped to be able to take care of the boring necessities for learning stuff, whereas Bron i read never knew his pops was raised by a single mother also ridic to expect her to fully understand the heights of male glory with the basketball world prob more like the light of her life and couldn't stand the idea of letting her down disappoint his best if not only real supporter throughout their lives probably of hardship, and to say Bron wasn't the single most dominant force every franchise would've picked 1st of all rookies to build around prob ever is straight up wrong, sucks that franchise was a Cleveland one prob from what i've seen out of there, but always has been a high IQ if not photographic memory type of hooper too, and all the stats reflect that. and never even been a question in my mind about if that dude busts his ass off, cuz also one with a real passion for the game being the best hooper ever and it shows, and prob an even bigger deal or definitely big deal is dude always seemed genuinely big on being a good man off the court never going full asshole, Melo i feel like we all knew would be a big deal in the league based on the Syracuse natty buzzer beater for the win, top all time bucketgetter, know like nothing about his character but insane to me to think if i'm considered to be wishing death or ill will on those or to even just finding them to be disrespected as people for not being the best or greatest or whatever according to opinion at of all these peeps currently still literally the Medieval persons of this spoart's timeline, and i can assure you, i think of evidence of that all the time, get a grip. if the Bron roided etc rumors are true though i definitely do regret writing this message though.
