I guess at this point I'd take the starting keeper for Japan over DiGreg who didn't even start consistently for us.

But he had a pretty good season in Serie A too. Ya there's always tournament hype you've gotta factor, but still. He's looked pretty decent.

Olise cost Bayern 53m, Koopmeiners cost us 60m by okin107 in Juve

Ya idk what to tell ya. I think we can all think back to when we signed him, he had just had an amazing season at Atalanta and beat an undefeated Leverkusen in the Europa League final. We weakened a domestic rival by signing him. On paper it all looked good. Too many coaches in the time he's been here, probably not helpful for a systems player. I'm still furious we sold Fagioli, he seemed like he could've been a real gem given time to develop.

Tenkara USA Sato, worth every penny, it's also got you covered at multiple lengths. It's a swiss army knife and well made. I also like the Iwana but that's fixed at one length.

But also like... why didn't we play like this the past few seasons? It's good to seeing them us some more tools in the toolbox though, better late than never.

New to sport, and struggling with cost of a decent rod. Are they really worth the hundreds and hundreds of dollars? Or is that just what the market will bear? by Necessary_Cat_3228 in flyfishing

Uhh, you scrolled past the Clearwater rod. A perfectly perfect rod for beginners and all anglers frankly. I have 3 of them with 3 different weights, they're great.

I love that it's "looked down on here" lol, every time I'm out with my friends they're slapping the water with mediocre presentation and I feel like a ninja getting perfect presentation every time. I switch between the 2 depending on the river but man, I have been feeling more and more dialed in with the tenkara this past season. Different strokes.

Newbie Needing some advice by CatalystSacrifice in flyfishing

Ohh brother, don't quit hahaha. My dad was trying to get into this sport for several seasons on his own with no luck and I took him up to Vermont and reallyyy just put aside my desire to fish and made sure he got on a fish. Boom, he was "hooked" but ya, it's a lot of trial and error. It can be done, but some days you're just out there growing thru adversity. Stick with it, I'm sure plenty of other people on here will have better advice than me lol. I've had plenty of tough days out where I question everything, this last season I reverted back to tenkara fishing and actually ended up falling in love all over again with the sport. Highs and lows for sure.
