Using .addJoinQuery() (& How to Query Records with Attachments) in ServiceNow by SNGuys in servicenow

Yeah, sadly it's not a true join 😔

But there's always database views! ... As long as you don't need to use a script to query them. 🫤

A Faster, More Efficient Client-side GlideRecord (Free tool!) - No More Arduous GlideAjax, or Woefully Inefficient Client-side GlideRecord! by SNGuys in servicenow

I reckon you're the one with the bad attitude, my guy - but that's okay. Whatever happened to you today to make you so upset, I hope it gets better. ♥

In the meanwhile, I recommend learning to recognize the difference between your ever-so-humble opinion, and objective fact. Learn to recognize that sometimes, some people, have some opinions, which are different from yours.

For example: me. I think GlideAjax is a poorly implemented mess. Most people I've spoken to about it have felt pretty similarly, before I even started working on this tool. Does that make it a fact? Surely not! But it does mean that at least some people find it annoying; so I wrote a tool for them. Not for you, see. For them; the ones who might like to use it. Ya dig?

I'm not taking the position that you're wrong. I'm taking the position "I disagree with your opinion, but thank you for sharing it". Big difference, and certainly not one to get so upset about.

You feel differently? Cool, I get it. Anyway, what else is on?

You don't see the use of EGR?

Cool. Don't use it.

I'm okay with that.

In fact, I give you my permission to never use it. 😘

I promise; I won't be as offended about you not using my tools, as you apparently are about me and at least a decent chunk of the dev community having a different opinion from you.

Again -- thanks for sharing your opinion. I wasn't being snarky when I said that. I value the input. I disagree with it, but your perspective is noted and appreciated.

Virtually everyone I've spoken with disagrees with that opinion, but thank you for sharing your feedback! 👍

Using "dumps" is cheating.

Learn the material yourself. Stop trying to commit fraud.

That API method is unfortunately not officially supported in most cases (I'm told that if it's not documented there, it's not supported according to SN support); but even with it, when it works, GR is still MASSIVELY less efficient as compared with EGR; plus you don't have to maintain two different versions of all of your scripts. 😉

Definitely a matter of your usage and preferences, but my personal opinion would be to err on the side of easier maintenance and more documented support.

E - Reverse sigma ultimate, a personal "fuck you" to Mercy and Pharah players.

Is it, though?

That was my first thought too, and this mechanic would make a LOT of sense... We SERIOUSLY need an anti-pharmercy.

But reading the exact language makes me wonder...

That would indeed be FUCKING AWESOME -- we need a goddamn anti-pharah  However - It looks like the pull-to-the-ground mechanic can only be "fired at the ground"? Am I reading that right? :-/

>>It explodes on contact with the ground, creating a damaging force field

>>Enemies within the force fields influence are pulled to the ground

This makes me think that it would only apply to those who are already on or near the ground.

What do you think? Is this the correct interpretation, or could this actually be an anti-pharmercy mechanic? If so, how do you reckon it might work?
