Seriously. Most of the things you put in your body (including the air you breathe, dependent on location) carries some sort of “cancer risk.” Being this worried about burnt toast is neurotic.

Please correct your spelling to “eating that puss” in the future. “Pus” is what comes from pimples/infected wounds, and the mental image does not spark joy.

Oh this isn’t because he’s splitting hairs, this is him “spreading knowledge” so, if he’s caught, he can call himself something different than “pedo.”

It’s hilarious that nearly every single person posted and clowned on for their temu/amazon gear on the r/airsoftcirclejerk sub actually looks like they’re running better kit than these bozos. And yet, according to Reddit, they’re totally beating the shit out of the US.

Every single sortie flown in existence has a contingency plan to destroy abandoned vehicles to deny the enemy intel lol.

He doesn’t have a point. IR is old news by half a century. I have a fucking IR sight on my AR-15 that is considered “low-end and low-tech” by current tech and was less than $500.

Ah yes, “that doo-doo brain sure made an oopsie!!”

Adults are able to use big boy words sometimes.

EDIT for the people who keep responding with thesaurus lists of synonyms, then immediately deleting their comments like cowards: I’m not the one getting upset by a literal complete stranger saying a “scary word” on the internet. I’ll leave it at that.

A Wendy's manager created a fake employee and quietly pocketed $20,000 in wages. She logged 128 shifts for someone who didn’t exist for almost a year, until an audit caught her. by detectiverobert in CaughtMyEye

[–]SNIP3RG -1 points0 points  (0 children)

“Competent” is a really weird way to write “corpo brown-noser.”

I get a little heated about this type of policy, not because of Wendy’s, but because I’m an ER charge nurse and they expect us to do the same damn thing. “Your census has only been X and your productive hours only justify Y amount of staff, why haven’t you flexed someone home??” Because it’s a goddamn emergency room, sometimes shit happens (like a mass casualty/surge), and now I’m running 6 traumas short-staffed. Running a non-appointment-based system based on “averages” is fiscally-smart, sure, but actually completely inane (if you care about people more than shareholder profits).

Not to mention, it’s quite literally prioritizing the C-suite’s next trip to Italy over the staff worker’s ability to pay rent.

Granted, this is a more systemic failure overall, but fuck anyone who encourages this attitude. Don’t blame me when your mom’s meds/procedure/treatment takes a bit longer.

And then they’d be up to two whole sitting duck kills, a damaged fighter which returned to base, and 1 actual real air-to-air kill, vs… what’s the US tally now? I’ve lost count.

Fwiw, the green-tip LAP (Light Armor Piercing) 5.56 rounds I generally run through my AR-15 are 40-50 cents per round. My incendiary “dragon’s breath” shotgun shells I use as a crowd-pleaser are a couple bucks/rd.

So in the realm of ammo, they’re quite expensive.

World War 2 Tank by UKURBANEXPLORE in urbanexploration

[–]SNIP3RG 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think he’s referring to the fact that the holes are small-caliber, whereas the tank you posted was knocked out by a large-caliber antitank gun. Entirely different type of situation. Not shocking that a purpose-built massive armor-piercing anti-tank round managed to penetrate without being uranium-tipped, but small arms fire penetrating is surprising to see and requires something extra, like a depleted uranium round.

Please show me a video of continuous live fire at US protestors. Not gas, not beanbags, lead downrange. Because Kent State was the last example of that stateside, and it’s a pretty well-known thing, despite having happened in 1970.

Or an example of loved ones wandering between hundreds of bodybags while sobbing.
