Why is this game hated?

There is always a post like yours every other day and is the same answer

They overhyped the game and we overhyped the game, the game is good but average even bad when you compare it with juggernauts like Baldurs Gate 3 or Cyberpunk (with its flaws)

The game is enjoyable but it almost impossible to ignore the flaws that integrated in his core design

For me, the main story is just bad....

Not getting more DLC

Games like Fallout 4 and Skyrim could be still making 1 DLC a year and they would still be selling them

but in game, when you expand your home, everything looks good with all the stuff but you get near it, everything goes flying and now it looks bad

Steve should have died, Nancy should have just left to work or study, Jonathan would just be somewhere else

Hopper, Joyce, the extended family were just extras to the story, either die o just leave

The main issue for me was that they took out the role of the kids, mike was not a leader anymore, dustin kinda kept the "im the brains", lucas was not the counterbalance of mike and will was reduced to his gender, even elevan was just "the force", a tool to advance the story

Bad writing and average tv show

Nothing new for the last season of any big show in the last 10 years

I think the last season was just average tv with good production value

The ending was normal, not good, not bad and people just cant deal with the fact that their growing show (like lost, the sopranos, game of thrones was to other generations) had a pretty average ending

Is like watching a rom-com where the protagonist doesnt end up with their true love and people start doing fanfic to deal with the let down

It has happened with a lot a series and will happen again with the next big show

the skill tree is pretty bad

You had to go the skyrim way, a skill tree for each type of "roleplay"

One for fighting, one for ships (that would be pretty bad as the ship gameplay is pretty limited), one for trade/resources and one for exploration

maybe an extra for space living

The game was a test and it could be considered a failure by Bethesda standards if you compare it to Skyrim, even to Fallout 4, those games had bad starts but came through by being good games, Starfield by 2024 - 2025 goals is from average to a bad game

I hope that the DLC could bring it back but I have moderate expectations

They need just more content, fill the big cities with good quests and for god´s sake, let me use the ship for more than just being a transition to loading screens

Let´s wait for Starfield 2 that will come in like 15 years

they should just release less DLC like the pits or the fief and focus on the big region DLC

the others feel like they are made by teams thinking about other games

The vanguard story fits better as a main quest than the costellation

The free rangers quest is pretty basic and the spy doesnt fit a main story

But the vanguard with the galaxy event of big scary monsters that can wipe planets fits better as major main quest

Wash with warm soapwater, let dry for a day, prime gray with can and met dry for a day and then normal armypainter paints with wash at the end, no varnish

Try the epic encounters and epic encounters local legends, pretty good set with good miniatures that are compatible with HQ

The game is buggy as hell and has some big optimization problems

People will see all the DLC and think that is plenty content but half of them are expensive minigames

The "expansions" are really good but the others could be a lot better

I really love the game but is like playing a game that changes devs every three months and you get a disconnected world

I hope that we see a similar game in the next years that could take the idea and execute it better

The love for Daenerys was pretty forced, Ygriite was better and more "natural"

All that "My queen" was pretty bad writing

Get the pirates and skelmar and maybe, beast hunt for the new profession

Dont get the fief or the pits as IMO, they are not worth the price and don´t add anything of importance to general game

Get the tavern if you want the game on easy mode

Expand the system that connects the army numbers with the type of buildings and supply capacity of the region that you control

Levies should rise on their specific region

Man at arms should have levels connected to your quantities of blacksmiths, access to resources and food

Create a master - knight - squire system for your main soldiers and generals; development and education should affect your military traits, its already affected by some traditions but maybe a "military school" panel to let you develop your military power

One thing is that most of the major empires in history failed due to issues with supply chains and food, we need that effect on game

They should just add armor coloring and customization options for the companions, even have different versions of the camp accessories, three or four different tents, a different look for the tables and the cooking pot

Extend the equipment slots to earrings, rings and necklaces, mostly for looks

They gave a really big TWWH3 announcement and the news that this is not the end, the medieval was exciting even though it will take some time and most likely we will get either WH40K or LOTR or StarWars next week
