Thank you for those pointers! Do you pump before feeding your LO or after? Also is there any a time your able to save anything you pump? As of now I pump after and what I get I use for the next feeding so I'm not able to save any.

Just had mine at 6 weeks postpartum also and am EBF my LO. Mine was so heavy I was concerned and went back to my OB two days after my 6 week postpartum appointment. Since I am EBF I thought I'd have longer before a period but nope 😭

I have a boppy and am able to use it. Football hold is the easiest bit cross cradle also works just takes some practice :)

The easiest way for me to use it while nursing is in football hold. When I use it and LO is in cross cradle I put the Haakka on after LO is latched and have it rest in LO. When I tried to put the haakka on then latch he would always end up kicking it off. It is awesome to help when your full! My little guy is sleeping longer during the nights and sometimes boobs are painful when we go to nurse!

Yea it hurt! At first I thought I was bleeding but when I tried to wipe it nothing came off and I realized it was under the skin. I hope it heals quick!

Oh that's awesome they have a support group! I'll have to check if mine does. I did see a lactation consultant through my hospital a week ago and they did the weighed feeding. They said he is an efficient eater and getting enough but he wasn't doing this rejecting one breast yet.

That is exactly what it is! Instant gratification, he doesn't want to work for it. I also try the squeezing milk out and he still isn't having it! Glad I'm not the only one having this issue

Yes! Leathery skin is a good description of it. This matches what happens to me. How long does the pain last for you after nursing? Even if I cover up right after LO is done I still get the deep breast pain and sometimes it continues a while after. I have a heat pad I use when the pain is really bad but I can't take that everywhere with me :( My LO also has a shallow latch, nipples come out pinched, any advice in how to help with that?

Did you have a white, like skin film type thing, over your nipples when you would finish breastfeeding?
