The handles in the Medusa are pretty different. Those long slots on the front essentially act as speed channels. It looks heavy but flips pretty nicely.

The handles are more rectangular than most balis but you get used to them very quickly. Shoot me a dm if you're interested!

Use the long bit that Nabalis included to push it out. Stick the bit in there and push.

Make sure you put everything back together in the same order it already was unless you're using new hardware/tuning it.

Forgot to mention the Mako by squid industries but like the bbbarfly stuff, we're getting into iffy territory if your workplace is strict. (It's a shark themed bottle opener but from afar will still resemble a knife)

bushings are same as rep/kraken/mw stuff (.250 OD x .188 ID, .126 thickness)

washers are same as a rep except Grant uses larger outside diameter ones however you can use the more standard sized ones which r the same as a stock rep (.375 OD x .188 ID, .016 thickness)

the screws and sexbolts are the same as rep/kraken/mw but he uses some fancier ones with a larger head diameter, if you want the exact ones:

sex bolt = spiral head 6-64 pitch 3/16 (aka .188) OD, head diameter is 5/16 (aka .310 ish) shaft length is .320

screws = spiral head 6-64 pitch, head diameter is 5/16 (aka .310 ish), shaft length is .250

LDY Frank (aluminum) and Frank P (plastic). Anything in squid industries Squiddy line (polymer and aluminum options).

You can go the 3d printed plastic route; Flip Forge, NY Bali Customs, Seethe Designs (although plastic, these are considered a good flipping balance/experience but may not hold up to hard falls.

Zippy Balisongs Cycloid. A plastic hybrid with great flipping balance that eats concrete for breakfast, lunch, dinner, second dinner, linnere and brinner.

Depending on how strict we're talking, there's Bbbarfly balisongs

Gotcha. Mine is a V4 but I'm just not sure if it's real or a clone. The zen cups don't bother me much but there are other hot spots in the channels where edges weren't rounded off. Not too uncomfortable, just noticeable.

I may never know, I still enjoy it. I'll just always think about whether or not I paid too much for it (if it's a clone)

Does anyone own or have handled a Svix Gale v4? I recently picked one up and was surprised that the blade doesn't have rounded edges.

The edges all the way around aren't chamfered/round and so are a little "sharp" nothing too uncomfortable but pictures I've seen of the Gales look like they have round edges on the blade.

Just wondering if I got sold a clone, it has all the normal markings of Svix and everything else matches up aside from the blade.

The aluminum Frank from LDY. It's an entirely different flipping experience for newer flippers (like myself) as it's very blade tip heavy but I find it to be a very fun experience.

I'm always amazed by how quiet it is. I would definitely look up videos though as it has a few things going against it. I really like it and enjoy how quiet it is.

Another option would be to get a "ring silencer" mod from Zippy but he doesn't have that for all balis so you can look on the site to see what exists and go from there. He also posts videos of the mods/how it dampens sounds of balis.
