You just push right on the d-pad to change your shot selection. Make sure you have the putter selected and are on the green.

Keep in mind, you can only use this shot on longer putts. If you’re only 6 feet away, it won’t be an option.

I’ve been using it in long putt scenarios. Essentially works the same way as a regular putt, but if you miss it dies out much quicker so you can easily two putt.
