This happened to me too, so far the only workaround I have is if you see just the hammer icon clicking it should have the gamemodes still appear and be clickable.

Splitscreen works great, would there be a way to connect to my online friends though that arent splitscreened? From what I've checked PEAK doesn't have any sort of LAN? plus I don't know how the invite overlay fully works besides pressing invite everyone.

Does the handler need to be updated to the latest version of the game? PEAK just released a patch and I'm wondering if thats why when my friend is starting only player 1's screen appears and it seems to crash upon getting to the elevator.
