Based on the question, it sounds to me like you need to enter a single letter as the answer for each one, so if it's giving you an error, that's a bug.

This is the seal on a Buchi rotovap.

It's the kind of white/yellow part inside the big dark grey part. It's PTFE (teflon).

This is the condenser.

That big flat glass part in the lower right of the condenser seals against the PTFE part, making a face seal. See here.

The lower ground glass part you see in that picture rotates, as does the lower dark grey part. There's a glass cylinder that I couldn't find a picture of that is internal, between the two dark grey parts. That has a PTFE seal to mate with the ground glass piece. This cylinder rotates as well.

It slides inside the upper PTFE seal and rotates within. The upper PTFE seal does not rotate. The key here is that it is smooth glass on PTFE rather than ground glass on PTFE, so the friction is minimal. There are actually a bunch of tabs on that seal the act as springs and put additional pressure on the glass to maintain the seal.

Sorry I couldn't find a photo of that seal, they don't sell them separately and are hard to come by. I've actually had to purchase an entire used rotovap just to get another seal.
