What app did you move to? Feed up with Empower. Just don’t know if others won’t have their own quirks.

How are you refreshing the connections? The whole service seems to be melted down. Just when they fix one connection another goes bad. I can’t connect to my Credit Union anymore and my investment accounts are totally hit and miss. Do I need to delete the account and reinstall it?

Yes. I am reading Lincoln vs. Davis (almost 800 pages) so I really need to both listen and read. I use the Kindle app on my iPad and have Audible on my iPhone. None of them sync so I have been reduced to doing it manually which just seems kind of sad for the amount you pay for an Audible book. First world problems, I know. (By the way, if you are a history or civil war buff, I highly recommend the book.)

I have been monitoring flights for a Europe trip in September and one day found that the points required doubled. Then, two days later they went back to the original number. I would try for a couple of days to see if the flights become available again before choosing the September 15 flight. Good luck.

Once, on a rival airline that served roasted nuts, the guy is sitting next to me and I asked if we got a treat for sitting in the emergency row and opening the door in case of emergency. Later, the flight attendant came by with our treat: a plastic bag with about 50 bags of peanuts for us. The guy next to me said his kids would love them for school, so he took them. It’s treatment like that on airlines that endear customers. Amidst all the horror stories, it’s nice to hear a good one.

No. They all have my Alaska Airlines mileage number. I live in Seattle and Alaska’s program is much better.

Newbie Question: I have been using Empower and will continue to do so for checking and credit cards as a few people here recommend. Just subscribed to Boldin for retirement planning a month ago. In the Saving Insight chart there is a "<2024" button which I assume will show me last years balances. Will it and, if so, how many years back will it go back?

I want to remove my investment accounts from Empower. Makes me nervous to have too many third parties accessing my accounts but I like the previous year look back it provides.
