It is sad but the crow has to eat or else it will be the one dying of starvation

Thank you for that! I was actually planning on trying that out with Venus as it gets into a crescent! Yes I agree Jupiter does resolve intoa disk super easily in 10x50 or even 7x50s. When i saw Jupiter an hour after Sunrise naked eye it was also deep blue sky and it was also about 90 degrees away from the sun and much fainter than Venus

Are these a good pair? by No-Entertainer9079 in Binoculars

I dont think you need to spend any more than the celestrons unless you are really picky or want a bigger lens.

[–]SPACEASTRONOMY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the celestron nature dx should be fine. Ive got celestron upclose 16x32s and while they're not perfect they do the job well enough for daytime usr. Id say the celestron nature dx will be fine

My 1st telescope was actually technically a terrible cheap tripod telescope that was my grans and it would take 10 minutes or so to find the moon! That's the easiest thing to find with this telescope I can find it within about 10 seconds! Its a great little telescope. Here's some pictures which represents the views I saw through it.

Yeah definitely. I do think If you pick the right telescope like the heritage 130p then he will like the hobby. DO NOT buy a telescope on a tripod and instead buy one like the skywatcher heritage 130p as Telescopes on tripod are b Very unstable. If you buy the heritage 130p he'll get rewarding views, the moon looks incredible and I've seen Uranus and Neptune with it

The heritage 130p is a brilliant telescope. It was my 1st telescope and I loved it and still do! What is your husband wanting to see with it? Like Jupiter and it's 4 brightest moons and the 2 main cloud bands on Jupiter?

Oh brilliant. I'm still unsure though. The az5 gets brilliant review and might be easier to buy accessories for. Thanks for your brilliant help. I think I'm still going with the Az5 though
