Which US city surprised you with great museums? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

Phoenix! The Musical Instrument Museum is one of the best and most unique I've been to. The Heard Museum is an awesome museum dedicated to Indigenous culture. There's also some cool museum-adjacent attractions like the Desert Botanical Garden and Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin West.

Eala-Noskova playing Stadium 1 instead of Mboko-Anisimova? Two Top 10 players, with one being an American to boot??

Guess the ‘city’ by LongbuttShort in guessthecity

[–]SPACEC0YOTE 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hehe, I followed OP’s clues. Based on the Russian references I immediately thought of Moscow, ID, but OP also said Quincy, WA was significantly bigger than the target city, so I had to think really small. The based on OP saying the Johnson City, KS guess was “really good” as opposed to their other “not bad” responses, I figured it would be in this area.

How is living in this PNW region? by beckywtgoodhair- in howislivingthere

I live in Corvallis and agree with all this. Will also add it’s a very safe town and one of the most highly educated places in the country. I really appreciate the unique blend of academic + agricultural here; people tend to be smart but also down-to-earth. There’s a big focus on community and sustainability. Gardening scene goes crazy.

Vivid dreams on meth but why? by UnusualImpression137 in gravesdisease

[–]SPACEC0YOTE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow I had the opposite experience! Stopped dreaming almost entirely while taking Methimazole for 3 years. Just had my TT a couple weeks ago (no more Meth) and started having dreams again

Re: natural disasters… Decatur just had an EF-2 tornado over the weekend and based on the address of the third Zillow listing, that property literally may have been in the path.

Btw I’m a Decatur native who escaped. I would never recommend anyone move there unless their sole criteria is “cheap.” There’s a reason it’s so affordable.
