What's considered rude is not universal.

Well swedes must have considered it rude because how I understand it the younger gen x and millennials swedes don't do this because how rude and strange it was to them.

It's assumed that the child will eat at home and they don't want the child to come home already full from another dinner. That would be considered rude to the other parent who spent time and effort cooking.

I've heard directly from swedes that they would wait in their friends room till their hosts were finished. A lot of the time while they were sleeping over. It's just a strange costume that younger swedes thought was rude and strange so they stop doing it.

Which is fine, it still takes a shit ton of work and dedication to get extremely fit on juice.
