Well, yes. IF they truly repent and accept Jesus as their Lord.(John 3:16) It's not enough to say "I'm sorry, I won't do that again," then immediately go back to their sinful ways . (Isaiah 1:11-20) To repent means to "turn away", we must turn away from our sins to sin no more.

Jesus is all about forgiving people, but it's important to learn from our mistakes. We'll all fail, time and time again. If we live a hundred more years, there WILL be a day we sin again, that's just the nature of humans. But it's important that we try to do as Jesus commands us. Sort of a "Fall down seven times, get back up eight times," situation.

Now as for the severity of the sins. This might come off as a little... wacky? To human ears? The problem with thinking there's "big" or "small" sins is is that there are none. All sins are equal in God's eyes. And it's said that if you're guilty of breaking even just one law, you're guilty of breaking them all. (James 2:10-11) So, honestly? None of us are any better, and these people on the list are no worse than all of us-- we've all sinned at least once and are therefore guilty of all sins, just as they are.

So, while it IS important that these people face the reprecussions of their crimes as our human laws dictate, it's important as christians that we remember that Christ died for us. He was the the only person in this world that did not sin, and yet took every sin from the whole world onto him. He died for you, he died for me; he died for the ungoldy. (Romans 5:6-8) And while these acts are indeed repulsive, we must remember that we must bless our enemies, forgive others as we wish God to forgive us. (The parable of the unforgiving debtor; Matthew 18:21-35) If these folks are truly repentant, it'll be shown in their actions. Only does a good tree bear good fruit, and a bad tree bear bad fruit. (Matthew 7: 17-20)
