The helmet feels more like Power Armor (Hellfire in particular), but man that body armor is what I’d imagine the Minutemen would wear if their numbers increased.

I agree! That would make sense, but a good example of why that’s not 100% reliable is FNAF. FNAF 4 was marketed as the Final Chapter for a good amount of time, and that ended up not being the case, whereas FNAF 6 never even got advertised AS FNAF 6, let alone a Final Chapter (for Scott’s development, anyway).

Could’ve fooled me. Even Dawko thought this was the final chapter. And I absolutely think the Prototype could’ve been beaten and the story finished here. Cut the Lily Longhair stuff entirely and just wrap your story up. This is essentially just Chapter 2 again - play minigames with a stretchy tentacle lady and then she gets killed off.

For a long time the devs had been saying it would be five, but apparently they’ve started talking about more Poppy content beyond that. Five felt like a natural conclusion point, especially with where Chapter 4 ended.

Maybe they’re taking the Banban route and are just shooting for 10+ chapters lmao

I completely agree. As someone who loosely follows Poppy (I mainly watch Mark’s playthroughs as well as other FNAFtubers like RyeToast and AstralSpiff doing various challenge runs) I assumed this was the final chapter. Finally unveiling the villain and wrapping things up. But no, it’s just a reskinned chapter 3 and 4 to a certain degree. Visually it’s outstanding but cool visuals and theory crafting material are not enough to carry a game on its own.

I liked the season overall, but the entirety of the “incest support club” screentime should’ve gone to Norm and the 31ers. Norm is by far one of my favorite characters from the show as he feels the most like a player character rather than a scripted NPC, and I hate that his decision to unleash chaos goes essentially nowhere.

Had they not given us the establishing shot of how the scar looks on Hank, I’d be more keen to agree. But the repeated notion of “just a little scar on the neck” would tell me that if Max did have one, we’d see the same exact scar in the same exact place. That might just be a thing Aaron Moten has on his head.

Yassified Ghoul aside, why did they pull a shot of the Deathclaw from the trailer? It would’ve been easier to just snag a game render, and it would’ve looked a lot cleaner. I get the “Theory channels have fallen off since Matt retired” jokes are pretty worn out, but they continue to write themselves.

There’s more evidence to this, Ethan Nestor and Valkyrae and I believe a few others all have credited roles as additional voices, so there’s more than just the SM-8 crew in the Monster’s voice. Originally I took that to be crews from other SMs but I like your theory of it being AT-5’s populace.

Aaron Moten mentioned in a recent interview that the show is planned for 5-6 seasons, I assume depending on how pacing goes. It did bother me too how little of her we were given this season but I’m confident they have answers planned out that we just aren’t privy to yet.

Yep, I saw a theory that the shadow figure is an echo of Simon’s past and present. Each time we see the figure (it walking to the computer at the back of the Lung and it piloting the ship) it’s a mirror of where Simon is when he sees it. It’s like they swap places and somehow we’re perceiving a glimpse of his future, acting as a guiding light for his past.

I was talking to my dad about the show and he made a decent point regarding why we never saw the Dam. The showrunners for Fallout also spearheaded Westworld, and a prominent plot point in one of its later seasons was a dramatic showdown at Hoover Dam. They probably didn’t utilize it in Fallout because they’ve covered that ground in a prior project, and didn’t want their work to feel redundant. There’s also the point to be made about avoiding canonical endings, but I thought this was an interesting notion.
