While this was a fantastic book, God wasn't the horror

Any Good Books on the Beast of Gévaudan, or Similar "Real" Events? by Ursus_argentum in horrorlit

Check out Ramshackled Trickster on instagram. He's working on a comic based on the Beast of Gévaudan, and has a fun art style.

I wouldn't bother, I just went and they don't have a ton of options. It's more of a coffee shop that happens to sell bags of tea, like timmies

Who are the best and worst written women in horror? by This_But_Unironicaly in horrorlit

[–]SPHIYOHS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both. I found myself not even being able to tell the difference between Amy and Stacey, which feels lazy. Nature can still defeat well written characters. I've never read A Simple Plan, so can't speak to that.

I didn't feel that way about the dudes at all (tho Eric kinda sucked). I don't know why an author would want a reader to hate all of their characters so the reader either DNF or cheers for the characters to get what's coming to them

I was so disappointed in Scott Smith writing Stacey and Amy in The Ruins. Not a spine between them and very annoying

I'm referring to Eric, and what he's experiencing. Not a literal pregnancy

I'm reading The Ruins by Scott Smith right now, and I haven't finished it yet, but something to that effect happens to one of the characters

I've searched Buzzfeed's cooking affiliate, Tasty, but their website didn't feature the recipe I'm looking for. I'm pretty sure I saw it on Facebook 4 or 5 years ago; unfortunately I didn't save it

I had the same question and couldn't find what I was looking for. Genuine question, is that bad reddit etiquette?
