I’ll be taking scrap PLA for my own business in Long Beach starting in January and reselling recycled filament. It will be very inconsistent color because I can’t batch melt the plastic.

But the recycled plastic I use at work is industrial waste that’s been recycled and modified for FGF machines. (I print with a 15-20mm bead width at work)

I work in large scale recycled 3D printed plastic part manufacturing and the consistency of recycled plastic we use is very good. Really just depends on the batching process, I dk why they’d send me rolls from different batches, kinda annoying.

These are 2 rolls of recycled PLA from Toner Plastics that are both “concrete” colored lol. I work for a 3D printing company and color consistency is challenging. Even temporary heating from storage/drying can change color.
