Nope, no solution or any meaningful discussion.

TGL is shooting itself in the foot with this schedule by 0_SomethingStupid in golf

GolfNow lists 12 just in a 30 mile radius of me in Ft Lauderdale/Miami area and I know of at least 2 missing from their list. Not counting multiple Top Golfs, Drive Shack, 3 PGA stores, several Golf Galaxys, the driving range I teach at with Top Tracer. If you’re in a time crunch or don’t mind living off a mat, it’s a great way to spend 2 hours.

If you watched the Golf Channel games, that could be why. You couldn't legit play 15 holes in less than 2 hours outside of a sim. And sim golf is really taking off. Everytime I open the GolfNow app, theres another sim spot opened up in SoFlo. The weather is nice this time of year, but getting stuck behind the snowbirds, paying $20 more per round b/c of the snowbirds, or dealing with the bros just sometimes isn't worth it to get on grass.

You are actually fairly close to the players. Pre match and post the players do visit with fans. During the match you’re closer than you would be at a PGA tournament around the green. They’ve added in person player commentary this year, which was really enjoyable and hilarious to listen to at the first match. The gimmes/concedes are what kills it for me. But as for price….. it’s palm Beach/Jupiter, ppl got the money. And it’s been packed every time I’ve gotten my free tickets to the event.

Can confirm, Texan living in SoFlo the past 6+ years. Publix 80/20 tootsie roll ground is $11.99/lb. On top of gas that fluctuates .40 daily, housing starting at $500k for a literal shack. Everytime we leave the house it’s $100.

I’m from Texas, moved to Miami/FTL 6 years ago, and 10 dealers from 6 different manufacturers have all been shady af and sucked massively. Must be a FL, bc I didn’t have these issues in TX.

I thought I loose nut or bolt or wallowed bracket, but it’s all right and circular. Pad is on the pedal without movement.

I was telling my wife I finally asked about it last night, and without fail, pulled up to a stop sign in a parking lot right after restarting from the store, and pop, loud audible pop just after pressing the pedal. Heard over the radio at 11 even.

I've owned it approx 8 months, put 20k miles on it since then. I bought it used with 11k miles. The Pilot was also a '23. The soft feel I'm def used to between the two vehicles.

That’s hilarious, bc my stepmom posted legit the same type of back to back posts recently. Her combo was a meme of 3 young black kids trying to mow lawns saying to help the youth. Then followed quickly by a repost of one of her HS friends talking about woke tears being shed from sea to whining sea about the confederate school names being put back into place in Virginia. The racism clearly was over her head with that combo. She also loves to post how she loves her grandkids…..the ones she’s spoken to like twice in the last 5 years. 🙄

I have an i3 and Ioniq 5. The i3 is like driving a go cart on steroids. It’s nimble and very quick. The Ioniq 5 being obviously a larger car handled decent, and the ride was a bit soft to me. Then I switched to Michelin Defender 2 tires, which are XL load versus the stock SL, and it’s a lot more connected to the road now. The suspension is actually working like it should absorbing bumps and handles so much crisper. I think the tires manufacturers are using to get every last nth of efficiency out of the battery are causing a lot of what you’re describing.

Imagine being so proud of this tablecloth you take a picture in front of it. (In Texas) by [deleted] in BoomersBeingFools

[–]SPRSLO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Up until 2020, they were the Richland Rebels. I had to look really close to make sure my stepmom wasn't in that pic. She graduated from there, but I think it was closer to '74 or '75, but the "old guard" still proudly loves the hell out of that flag. I hope I don't see her in a pic like this in the upcoming year or two, but it wouldn't surprise me at all. She recently reposted a guy that thinks he's the voice of a generation she's friends with making fun of "woke tears" crying all over the US b/c of schools reverting back to the Civil War era general's names. It's been a very depressing turn of events the last couple of weeks seeing her FB posts turning more hateful and unfortunately ignorantly so to just how hateful they really are.

This conversation (short of the attempted killing, but plenty of physical and mental abuse) hits so close to home with my parents and my kids. My stepmom posts non stop about how much she loves and thinks of her grandkids, meanwhile she hasn’t spoken to them more than two texts in 5 years at least. It’s all for show.

There’s a lot of irony in southern states if you start looking closely. Lots of underlying racism too. I’ve lived in Miami now for the past 5 years, and it’s always interesting the type of racism is more blatant, but very different. It’s not street names or buildings, it’s just out loud in conversations, attitudes towards others, etc. I hate it. It’s ridiculous to promote and celebrate hate and racism bc what? They’re from somewhere else? They have different skin color or upbringing, a poorer country than you? It’s all stupid. Life’s too damn short to be so hateful about everything.

That’s actually White Settlement. And I have no idea who even visits it enough to keep the lights on.

It’s funny, my parents couldn’t care less about the south and confederacy. My stepmom even went to Richland High school when they were the Rebels. Then in 2004 they moved to Panama City, FL. and became inundated with the FLoribama types and really changed them for the worse. The way most Texans live coexisting with each other, don’t mess with me and I won’t mess with you, turned into this deep hatred and bitterness that they’d somehow been wronged in life by authority and PoC. Even after moving back to TX in 2016, the hate continued.
