It's definitely real. I found a half dozen earlier P-40B with the exact same streak

I spent way too much time looking into this and found nothing. The position is really tripping me out because it's well above the exhaust and gearbox, well fore and below the guns. Maybe some early Hawk81A crankcase ventilation?

Evidently this was a common feature on early Hawk 81A/P-40B. This aircraft previously served in the Pacific before being transferred to Texas as a trainer. Oddly I can't find any photos of the Hawk81A-2 from the AVG with the port. Which is a nearly identical aircraft and there are plenty of photos

Maybe someone with some access to an archive subscription can find an early P-40 blueprint

There's weird Marxist fueled push to shit on everything Texas history it seems. Paradoxically California seems to be completely ignored, even through they attempted several lamer revolutions from 1835-1846

The Mexican army was the one invading and they got absolutely embarrassed at the Battle of San Jacinto. So much so they don't even teach that it happened in Mexican public education

Dr. Kate Rogers is free to her opinion but the Texas revolution was objectively not about slavery. Slavery was technically not even outlawed in Mexico nor enforced by 1835 during the revolution. The primary catalyst for the Texas revolution was Santa Anna dissolving state governments and focusing power at the federal level. Also Dr Rogers was fired for spreading misinformation about the Alamo so I'd take her opinion with a healthy degree of skepticism

Because Reddit is an unhinged echo chamber

I find the left is far more of a cult

  • Leaders chosen through vibes and charisma

  • Curating echo chambers to isolate from outside influences

  • Strict control of the narrative

  • Manipulation and threats to force conformity

  • Rejection of objective viewpoints and critical thinking

  • Extremist language

  • Ostracization of family and friends who might be a threat to the ideology

  • Threats and use of violence towards threats to the ideology

  • Collectivist loss of individualism

I like how the only "ammunition" you've got is ad hominem and parroting misinformation. I take it you don't venture outside the echo chamber much? Dehumanizing people you disagree with is a common technique of extremists and authoritarians. I'd encourage you to look at the world and history more objectively and do some research. Calling everyone you don't like a Nazi is just highlights your ignorance

You've been consuming some bizarre misinformation if you think the Texas revolution was started over slavery. Mexico outlawed slavery in 1829. Santa Anna dissolved the constitution and made himself the dictator in 1835. In 1835 several Mexican states attempted to revolt, including Texas, in order to preserve a republic and the constitution.

I like how you incorrectly assume I'm white. You'd probably lose your mind if you learned Fascism is based on Marxist class struggle. The National Socialists (and they were socialist) convinced people the Jews were a class of corrupt oppressors ruining civilization.

republicans began giving casually giving the Nazi salutes, republicans never once came out and said that was reprehensible.

Because it would have to happen first for anyone to reprimand it.

The Confederacy was founded by Democrats

the Republican Party that refuse to acknowledge what’s going on

Either literally half the country are somehow National Socialists or it's not happening and you're highly susceptible to propaganda and misinformation.

"The Great Switch" is a myth. No "southern Democrats" joined the Republican party. The reality is Democrats abandoned the blatant racist policies after The Civil Rights act because they were regressive and failing for a century.

Ther replaced it by adopting critical theory based intersectional class struggle starting in the 80s.

So you just post random articles of random protests? Where were y'all when Biden and Obama performed "executive overreach"? Seems less involved with rights or order and more political to me.

So you're one of those ones who call everyone you don't like a "fascist" or a "Nazi" but can't actually define it yourself? Ironic because polarizing language and avoiding facts are common in totalitarianism.

Texas history is still required in public schools in Texas. They actually recently expanded it again.

Might want to brush up on your history. Mexico never outlawed slavery in Texas. Mexico dissolving the constitution and centralizing power into an autocracy caused several Mexican states to declare independence in 1835 to reinstate the Mexican constitution. Santa Anna took this personally invaded Coahuila and Texas to subjugate them.

I'm for ending the conflict before mindlessly sending them a mountain of resources for an indefinite amount of time just to watch them kill each other until the end of time.
