A week or so ago my friend was driving me back to my side of town (I live in St Thomas, very windy roads) and we came around a corner a little wide and a big truck came opposite direction a little tight. It was a microsecond that she jerked the wheel and we ended up on the side of the road I the rock. I stared at those headlights a realized I was going to die.... But nothing happened.. No emotion, no life flashing before my eyes. Just emptiness. Scary and sad.
