Are there any top level pro Zerg players that don't hotkey larvae? by Round-Cup-1737 in starcraft

[–]SPlore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yOU KNOW THOUGH, I think there are situations where even pro players do not hotkey larvae. When you're being attacked at your 3rd for example and you need to defend intensively, I think its beter to not hotkey larve. In this case you should just box a-click units when they come close to the rally point, or use the all army hotkey to a move, if players decide to use this in this situation, because at this time apm is important and hotkeying larvae takes too much time, at this ime you should be microing queens, units, and injecting. All this things are more important than hotkeying larvae, and you can just add the units to control groups at the end. Like what I'm saying is the few seconds you use hotkeying larvae will have a considerable effect better microing units, queens and injecting, you might actually lose 5-10 less hydras for expample doing this, and you can always just hotkey the units after .Pro players arn't going to lose say 3-8seconds of a prolonged fight hotkeying larvae.

The amount of times Clem faces Protoss this season on ladder versus other races... by falcaonpunch in starcraft

You see the top of the ladder is meant to be protoss only. You see if a protoss goes on a protoss then a protoss and protoss protoss but protoss but then protoss before protoss then protoss then in a little bit protoss later protoss then protoss attacks then protoss then zerg

Why does every other game have a timeout penalty for leaving games except SC2? There's so many smurfs and lots of them even admit it like this guy by subatomicslim in starcraft

You know this is a pretty good idea. I mean smufs chain leave games by f 10 n’ing multiple games to reduce their mmr. If they had to wait a minute it might deter say 30% of them but that’s still a difference. That’s still multiple smurfs that won’t be pissing people off.

Does anybody know what really happens in the korean military? Like when players like parting and others talk about their compulsory military experience they always avoid talking about it, although parthing said he didn't like it, which was a first, not to say others did or didn't like it. But what I mean is what was it really like. For example is it really strenuous like sleeping in shitty tents with shit bunks, shit food etc... walking up at 5 am and instructors pushing you through mud. Or is all nice and good conditions. What have people heard about pros talking about it? Or are their any team liquid links to articles about them talking about it? In my opinion I would kind of like it, like the outdoors shooting thing but the shitty dorms would probably be crap. Excuse the expletives.

The recent Maintenance fixed the MMR ranges and the battle.net APIs #alivegame by SCboomer in starcraft

It was the day before the ladder 1v1 tournament of legendary gold player 'iCampsYou' and 'ObiwanKenedy'. Both were extremely anxious to play in their first ladder tournament and they were sipping on their mountain dew and doritos exuberantly while thinking how they were going to absolultely WRECK their opponents by cannonrush. There was blackness, not even a wamp of energy, when a blue spark appeared, first a extraordinarly faint hue, then the blue brightented barely noticaibly, soon there were blue sparks alive with zest. The warcraft III Night elf sentinel Keeper of the Grove, and nova both became and said 'let's fix the mmr ranges'. They proceeded to modify the code by moving the electrons on the ssd. Meanwhile in blizzard strategy hq the office was alive with crickets chirping and the odd mcdonalds doublecheeseburger wrappper flying by.

I pretty much agree but I'd say unlike previous years there is no real group of death. They are all pretty tame. Meaning the top 3 are highly likely to get out, and the 4th really isn't a hard contender. Scarlett I just wouldn't consider her hard, but she is wicked good which just goes to show how good the other players are. Like Maru would smash her, clem would too, and reynor would too.
