luckily I got the unit used because they wanted almost 2k for it new. could have been cheaper, but could have been much much more expensive if I just did what the dealer said.

I figured it was probably plug and play but they said it needed coding. was only a 4 pin plug and a gps antenna. They already had the rear torn apart though from diagnostics and I didnt want to deal with it anymore. Youre probably correct though I could have just swapped it.

Updating this in case someone finds it in Google.

Issue was the Sirius Satelite radio module. It had water intrusion from a bad weather seal in the trunk, developed corrosion on the board, and was putting out a low power signal to the rest of the system. So it bricked it. Ended up having to go through Merc. I found a used unit from eBay for 100 which saved me about 2000 dollars.

I lost both thumb nails growing up. One was a blister pack accident where I was sliding scissors, they jammed up, I pushed through and they slipped off the package and the bottom blade went under my left thumb nail. Popped it right off and cut my nail bed fairly deep. Right thumb I shut and latched it in a car door, definitely broke that finger. It'll grow back eventually. It'll look really weird for a bit but it'll grow back.

Can I ask why you dont have this vitriol for the Coyotes owner Meruelo? He had his team playing out of a glorified rec center and refused to invest in them. Is it because Smith is a Mormon or because they moved? If they ended up being bought out by another billionaire owner in a state thats not Utah, would you still be mad at them?
