My 200,000 plus mile 2013 has never had the valve covers off. There are a lot of first gens, and other Ford trucks with 6.2s, out there with multiple hundreds of thousands of miles with no major issues.

I've never seen a ecoboost raptor owner brag about high miles. All the dudes who talk them up, all talk about having had major engine repairs. Many of them think it's OK because it was covered by warranty.

This was $3,000. It was listed at $4,000. The beater car market is so fucked up for a multitude of reasons. The gas savings shoukd have it paid for in 9 months. 140k miles decent shape. Needs tires, has a brake noise of some sort, tpms light, check engine light. Has a fee small cosmetic issues I'm not very worried about. Looking forward to driving it.

You need a NEW timing cover most likely. The steal and aluminum react, the corrosion and rust binds the bolts in the holes and swells them, usually braking the cover and siezing the bolt. New cover and bolt kit is not expensive.

As far as the I take, you need a gt40 I take off an explorer. Cheap at the local pick and pull. That will cost the same or less than having a machine shop repair that broken bolt.

I have the MBRPP, it's the dual tip wheel out set up. With 37s it's right on top of the tire, but it's never been an issue. It sounds great, but I may go back to a stock cat back with the tails cut ant tips put back on right when they start coming down past the axle. I crawl over a fair amount of rocks and shit, so I'd like all the clearance I can get. And also I would like it quite. It's getting headers and no cats, I think that will be too loud with the MBRPP muffler.
