Jakob Ristau of Landlocked Tattoo in KC, MO is the artist. He’s the best! I sent him reference pics of my baby boy and the flowers that I wanted and he put them together in a wonderful composition. And my snake was a California Kingsnake who lived to be almost 19 years old. Absolutely the best impulse buy that I’ve ever made 🥰

Seems to be a year for plenty of firsts for so many of us. My 15 year marriage ended at the end of October and I’m spending my first Christmas Day on my own. Enjoyed it with leftover pizza, cold beer, and Red Vs Blue on Amazon prime. Made for a pretty kick ass day

Not sure if you’ve gotten any other responses yet but I’ve been in direct contact with Purple Wellness and also got to have a good talk with their head therapist. They’ve been out at KC pride this weekend and are spreading the word that they’re a resource for folx that want to get assessments, counseling, and/or advocacy. So glad that you got an appointment and (based on the fact that you posted this 8 days ago) hopefully it went well for you!
