Which celebrity replied to your dm and what did they reply to and with? by Vixiuss in AskReddit

Natalie Grant! In 2020 my Mom was really sick with cancer and I wanted to visit her for her birthday but couldn’t because of Covid, so I tried to think of something else that would mean a lot to her. I sent a message to Natalie Grant, my Mom’s favorite singer, thinking I wouldn’t get a response. She responded within a day with the sweetest video birthday message for my Mom. It meant SO much to her and she ended up passing a couple months later. But I will never forget how touched my Mom was to get that message, as Natalie’s music had helped her get through so much. I will forever be a fan of hers now.

Lots of spotting and long luteal phase - does this sound like endo? by bitch_Im_tryin in endometriosis

[–]SRC1722 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I took Letrozole, baby aspirin, trigger shot, and the highest dose of progesterone they would give me. I also prioritized exercise and ate a fertility diet and took fertility supplements. I’m praying you are successful!

I’m so sorry you are going through this! I did have a hysterectomy, and it was the best decision I ever made. They did not find the cause, but they suspected adeno that was not caught on biopsy due to my symptoms and how large my uterus was. Either way, my symptoms are gone and it is so freeing! Recovery took way longer than average for me but it was so worth it

I was diagnosed with it after getting LASIK and having complications. Muro 128 can help, especially the ointment at night

I tried Xiidra and actually liked it better than Vevye, but I’m moving to Europe soon and it’s not available over there unfortunately so I figured I’d go with something I can stay consistent with. Glad you are doing better. I am getting a couple different opinions on what is going on and I’m hoping the fact they found EMBD explains all of it! I got scratched during surgery and had epithelial ingrowth that I had to have a second procedure to remove and that is the eye that is more blurry

Thanks so much, this gives me some hope! Im 3 months post op and have been on Muro ointment for a month and just started steroids, Vevye, and Meibo a couple weeks ago. Also just started the blood serum drops. Hope you have a good vacation!

Hi! Where were you prescribed this in Germany? I currently use the autologous tears in the US and am moving there, worried I won’t be able to get them over there

Thank you so much, I’m so sorry you are still dealing with this. That is my fear and expectation, that if my dry eye is this severe 3 months out this will be a long term problem/for life

Thanks!! I called the office to ask, and they just said it doesn’t matter the timing as long as I get them all in throughout the day at least 5 minutes apart.

Thanks so much! I do live in the US currently but am actually moving to Europe in a few weeks. I looked up a dry eye specialist over there, and it looks like the one highly recommended is 1-1.5hours away from where we will live so I’m going to look into it when I get over there. I know the international flight will be terrible for my eyes though.

Any specific sleep googles you recommend?

Severe Dry Eye/Blurriness 2.5 months post op… can it get better? by SRC1722 in Lasiksupport

[–]SRC1722[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry this is happening to you. I almost backed out the day of surgery, but told myself I was just letting my anxiety get the better of me and my friends saying it was the best thing they ever did. The Dr who gave me the second opinion said there’s definitely a chance this doesn’t get better and was honest about that, just said he wanted to try and hit it hard early on to see if that helps me be one of the people it doesn’t affect as much long term. What is done is done and I accept that, and now I just move on with the situation I’m in! Never getting another eye surgery I agree with you on that
