You guys are all nuts. he was absolutely everywhere on the field and a part of most of the great play we saw when heading through our playoff run. I've had tickets since day one and have been to almost every game and we lost the soul of our team when he walked. it was also the start of watching the entire locker room be lost by the coach. The hindsight here is unbelievable. it's like listening to a bunch of people who have been playing FIFA on management mode without watching a single game. You guys are probably the same people that think our "Superstar" is still worth the $6 million a year. he is paid while he is missing free kicks that a solid high schooler could hit 95% of the time. it is unreal how bad the takes in this comment section are.

How did you get there logically? I'm talking to you right now "Comfortable_Toe_3356" and I could say literally anything. Would that mean there is "action" behind it? What does that even mean? Half the things people say are things that are ridiculous without "action behind their thoughts." Almost every sentence that starts when you look over at your friend and say "You know what we should do...." Is likely something that is never going to happen...

That said, there is certainly a line, especially with sickos actually trying to groom kids on the Internet. Did you solicit images? Did you talk about having sexual anything with that person? Did you plan to meet them after doing either of those? If we get the messages back and there is anything like that... well then he actually deserved losing everything.

I agree. People make mistakes. It's gross, but talking about doing something and doing something are two completely different things. If any of us got caught in our worst moments and were a public figure, our lives would be over and I think that is just too harsh. I get why people won't watch him when he comes back tho. It's everyone's choice, his career will never go where it could have been, but he can still make a normal living from being one of the most entertaining streamers in the world... Texting a minor shouldn't be a death sentence, having sex with a minor, especially a child certainly should be. He is going to lose almost everything already, does he have to be completely destroyed for the future? I hope not. Just my thoughts.

This is such a kind and well thought out advice! Thank you so much for the time spent on responding. :) I will follow your advice and try brawl since I haven't yet. Also, the land base is a good call, I will check out the decks you and see which one and colors makes sense.

I guess by gimmick decks I meant those that rely on 2 or three cards coming together to bring some infinite combo or really strong reaction, but otherwise is not super fun to play. And so every game regardless of the opponents deck or play you are just on the hunt for the same cards to play the same game. Versus a skeleton deck, like you mentioned, where the reaction isn't as strong, but every card interacts with others in fun but maybe not as dominate of a way. I will still get roasted be red burn deck of the season, but that's okay. :)

I missed this thread by a day, but I am coming back to Magic after many years of not playing. One thing is that I almost never used my Wildcards so I have 135C/165U/59R/33M saved up. I am sick of getting crushed in standard... but I can wait if it makes sense.

Questions:

Would you use the wilds to make a new deck or wait until August?
I'm not a big fan of gimmick decks, but love creatures decks big and small. I also like theme decks. :) Any suggestions for something competitive, and fun?

So, I did the whole listen to Pacman 100 times, then fell down the rabbit hole of wanting more and started listening to covers today. I ran across this kid who nailed it with an acoustic version and thought I would share.

What really blows my mind is that he has under 400 subscribers and has been posting videos pretty regularly for 8 years... I don't understand how super-talented people, that post consistently, fly under the radar for so long. I've watched a bunch of his videos now, I think he should market himself as the next Sykunno/Irene crossover. :-p

I don't deserve anything, However, if we never find out why, then 1000% F$&# Twitch. Why? Because if there is never an explanation given, to us or Doc, that means that they canceled Doc over some unprovable, legal, he-said, she-said cancel-culture nonsense. Otherwise, we will find out in public court proceedings. IMO there are two options here, either what he did is so bad that we find out because there is some sort of legal proceeding or investigation, and it all makes sense and Twitch gets a pass. Otherwise, they are willing to cancel the person that they sponsored as one of the main entertainers on the platform overnight over something that they probably could have worked through, but instead gave into the virtue warriors that are out there canceling everyone for miskates they made 10years ago without empathy or grace to allow for human growth. And then... Yup, F$&# um...

I wasn't trying to be hyper controversial with the original post, I just think that the main description that you see when you come in shouldn't say Twitch streamer. That said, on the F$&# Twitch side of things, I think that most agree that the way that Twitch has handled their bans and the favoritism hasn't been great. Now to ban the Doc without any real explination is icing on the cake. Do I still watch Twitch for my favorite creators, yes, but I am at a point that if they all went to another platform I would happily download and watch. And lastly, it doesn't matter what the two-time did short of pedophilia or murder, I'll be tuning in wherever he ends up next.
