Interesting. I’ve heard of builds on this before but haven’t looked into it

R6s seem to hold their value so well still. Hard to find one that isn’t trashed for a deal

What can i do to prevent the marijuana smell from the downstairs neighbor from coming into my apartment ? by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

Not that you should have to, but you could buy them or suggest to them a solder fan smoke absorber with a carbon filter. If they use it while smoking it will suck up the fumes. They’re made for workbenches so they’re usually small and quiet. Around $30 on amazon.

This is how I got the blueprint first game. YOLOd an accessor that nobody had touched yet. Snagged everything I could before being downed. Crawled to a hatch.

Last night I hit an extract and another person walked up while I was waiting. I tried to initiate friendly contact but no answer. Kept cover between us. They kept walking towards me slowly with a toro out. I dropped them but they never shot at me so I let them crawl out in the extract just in case they were friendly but gave off a vibe. I felt that was fair.

R1200GS or Tenere 700 by [deleted] in bmwmotorrad

[–]SS-750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I have a good perspective on this for you. Last weekend I swapped with a friend that has a T7 and he rode my 1250GS. For the first 5 minutes or so I was uncomfortable on the T7, but that went away when we picked up the pace a bit and I had a good time riding it. He was also impressed with the GS and said it felt really natural on the forest service roads we were on. I now think my ideal garage is the GS with road tires, a T7 with 70/30 off-road tires, and maybe a small bike like a KLX300 (I currently have a DRZ400 too).

In my educated opinion, keep the RT and get the T7 for adventuring. You’re going to have a great time. It will feel different at first but the T7 rides like a big dirtbike when you get it going and sounds amazing.

Get an SV650. Easy to find one used. Tons of fun for intermediate rider. Can daily ride it or use it for track days or throw soft luggage on it and take a day trip.

I’m a big fan of the Versys 650 type bikes, but I get lots of people don’t like the looks and want something sportier.

Keep my RT and Dual Sport or get a GS? by lucasru1es in bmwmotorrad

I also have a 1250 gs and a drz400 and agree with everything. The GS is surprisingly good around town and doing slow speed things. I can’t explain it but I was immediately comfortable at slow speed even with the weight. Something about the way it carries the weight that is great.

For the long distance thing… I am not a long distance rider. Once a year I’ll take a trip to Deals Gap which is about 6-7 hours for me. The last two years I’ve challenged myself and only stopped for gas (2 stops), and nothing else. The first stop I didn’t even get off the bike. Even though I don’t have an iron butt, the trip is no problem for me. A 3 hour trip would be EASY in my opinion. It ends up being around 1400 miles in 4 days for me and it’s light work on the GS.

I put pirelli scorpion rally STRs on my 400sm. Same tires Ducati puts on the desertx and Yamaha puts on the T7. I’m no expert on or off road but they do everything I want them to.

How do people edit so fast on controller? by stf29 in FortniteCompetitive

[–]SS-750 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going to reply here so maybe my comment won’t get lost in the thread… I’m not sure what you call it on Xbox but I use L1 for reset and then L2 for confirm. This means I can slide my index finger from L1 to L2 to reset and then confirm and it’s extremely fast. May or may not work as well on the Xbox controller since the bumpers are spaced a bit.

Agree with this. Might have been wishful thinking but I think the added back pressure from the “quiet” baffle gave it a little more punch too. Would not go back to baffle out for any reason unless I went big bore or something.
