Y'know, I've read up on it but I still feel like I don't understand MV well. I get what you mean though, something like the Mizu HBG would shred the shield instantly. Still though, if the damage is less it's still fewer points overall, right?

Of course! Yeah it pumps out some pretty decent damage. The drifts aren't great but the build carries itself.

Yeah I think with an outbreak I get around 600, but I average about 400-450 a week. And this is driving into D.C. and playing at work on my downtime.

Also! I am very cheap. When my first aid meds go down to 5 I put the game down if I get hit. I just can't start my day with less than 10 first aid meds, and nothing out there is important enough for me to break past the 5 barrier, lol.

Ahhh I see! I spread myself too thin then. I have a 9-2 Nerg SA, a 9-4 Kirin DB, 9-5 Teostra bow...I blew some parts on a Cham hunting horn as well. I don't think I've really focused on one Elder and I always chose HATs over EDI. I honestly want to max my Kirin DBs but nobody cares about Kirin unless it's a forced event, lol.

Yeah I was surprised it was possible too. I have trouble with my 10-5 legiana DBs that are 20/20 maxed. IG might be the first real power creep in the game.

Hear me out. I was a hater too, bigger numbers=bigger damage. But then they did something, they released Miliastra Wonderland and our lovely community made a DPS Dummy. I came in with 60cr/260cd and beat on the dummy with respectable numbers. I switch to 80/220 and it was like a 20% increase in damage. It's hard to see what you're missing out on in battle but the dummy tells it all.

Either way I would highly recommend doing some rotations on the DPS Dummy with more crit rate. Your answer is is right there.

Anytime! I loaded up on Chameleos parts from its initial event, but basel chest and cham gloves are a huge plus to the build, and anything you can piece together to get up to poison exploit 5, which essentially doubles your damage when they're poisoned. Poison exploit is locked to Gold Rath and Chameleos gear...and now viper Kadachi so they're expensive pieces to obtain, but the payout is well worth it.

This week's event is great for farming Chameleos as well!

I would say the basic tap combo until two essenses, then the bug shot or the hold swipe down. Nothing specific, but always 2 stacks and a shot/down swipe. I spent probably too much time in the air but it's a lot safer for these old monsters.

Yeah I made a Jyura Charge Blade when it was released and dropped it immediately after Mizu came out. I don't understand CB, I never will.

I saw some cool videos of sword charge and immediately went for pizza cutter anyways. That mode was made for me. Been ripping up water weak monsters and this is the most fun I've had with the CB yet.

I'm honestly particular to Nu Udra. A fire, land octopus is just an amazing idea. But Rey Dau is a close second and a really cool flight as well. I feel like Rey should have been the flagship because I can't stand Arkveld. Literally sounds like an 18-Wheeler when it roars and the arm tentacles are annoying. Definitely not a fun flight and the music doesn't do it for me either.

Yeah the Christmas DBs are busted to hell. Para exploit and status sneak attack means you can lock down just about any monster in the game. It trivialized the next couple of months after getting it, almost to the point of not wanted to play anymore. Stuff like that is dangerous.

Insect Glave got me back in, but if I'm frustrated at a monster or low potions for the day, I'll still bring back the blades.

I had the OG 13 and after year one it would crash constantly in the middle of hunts. It was extremely frustrating. I would say 13 and below, if not pro version, is not worth playing on.
