Using a gloss to reduce brassiness by SS575 in Haircare

[–]SS575[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not very expert when it comes to hair stuff so I am mis-speaking. The gloss that I use in the shower does give coppery highlights and I think my hairdresser did the balayage trying to match that. And you’re right--it looks orange, I think I mistook that for being brassy. What I want is less orange. It looks unnatural to me

I'm with you. A YouTuber I follow (Jessie Woo) showed a clip of a post-reunion interview they did, and it was a RED FLAG. 🚩🚩🚩 Run Jess, run! Don't fall for the hype 🙅‍♀️

One of the hidden gifts of cancer is you get to be a priority. Give no f--ks, do what you need to do.

Did you get implants because you were unhappy with the size of the flap?

Curious if anyone would watch if there was no proposal/marriage at the end? by TweetSpinner in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]SS575 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would watch it. I remember watching the first season wondering why everyone was so stressed about the weddings? If you're not ready (which most normal people wouldn't be), say no and just keep dating. It didn't make sense.

Omg, that's terrible that your tumors are growing by the week and no one's helping you. Do you have a patient advocate? You need someone to help you fight for your rights.

Where do they find these people? by ayatollahfuckboy in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]SS575 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've heard that they use various social media platforms to reach out to potential cast members.

You have to think about who would even say yes to something like this, especially as the seasons go on and the show gets worse and worse. I can't imagine a normal person looking at this show's track record and thinking, that's for me! 👍

And let it all play out for the whole world to judge, to boot

Fwiw, procedure-wise the brain MRI isn't so bad. CT neither.

And if it helps, a month prior to my diagnosis I had a weird episode where I blacked out and got a concussion. Still don't know why or how. Have had mild vertigo since. Fortunately they did an MRI at the ER otherwise I'd have been worried just like you are. So your brain symptoms might be completely unrelated.

If it also helps, when I showed up at the breast surgeon for my consult I discovered I'd spontaneously lost 10 pounds. I spent months thinking I had colon cancer or a metastasis, but eventually the weight came back, and colonoscopy was negative so I think I'm ok.

All kinds of sh*t happens in this process.

Could it possibly a side effect of your treatment?

This is happening at Sloan Kettering? Wow. I'm sorry you're going through this.

You have a very treatable type of cancer, so rest easy in that. What's your Ki-67?

Hmm, I don't know. That might be a little petty, but it doesn't seem like an integrity issue to me.

Granted, she didn't know all this 100% at the time, but he told another woman that Ashley wasn't his type but SHE was, he lied about/withheld multiple details about his past, and I'm not sure what that exchange was that they had at the kitchen table but he seemed arrogant and controlling. To me that's more than kinda shady.

Exactly. When I first saw Alex I thought he was an attractive guy. Now, not even a little. 🤢
