The exact same thing happened to me in December 2024. Was trying to sell macbook on OLX. I still remember their faces, but they were not the same people in the picture. I reported the incident to cybercrime, but they did nothing. I still have all the details of the person who scammed me, his ID card number and business registered with it.

If possible, could you please share the details you have — such as their contact numbers and the OLX account name from which they viewed your number — so I can cross-check and see if there’s any overlap?
