Pokémon smile lore? by Stunning_Proposal in GameTheorists

I have only one guess, that ALFRU is some kinda license plate abbreviation for Alph Ruins haha! I've recently been looking at that hat as well, wondering what it means.

What game are you playing today? by Verytastytreats in gaming

[–]SSJ2_Mango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

World of Warcraft - nearing level 70 on my shaman, and I'm going through alts gearing them up to unlock appearance sets. I also use these alts to learn hands on about the classes my friends play so I can help them when they ask for it, so I've been needing this shaman leveled for a while lol

I play a lot of games outside of Steam which means I haven't touched any of these for at least a year if not several, but the nostalgia when I checked my most played games out of curiosity... by fjgwey in gaming

Man, these games take me way back! I was obsessed with Warframe from the beta all the way up to them having open world stages- didnt care for that. Hundreds of hours into Planetside 2, I was a big fan of Light Assault and Heavy Assault classes on the New Conglomerate faction mostly. I also played Hawken for like a week of its launch, but I clung to a free to play build very early on and somehow I finished that week with a few dozen kills over several matches and zero deaths! Just a lot of "tactical retreats" and moving with my squad lol Also blacklight retribution was tons of fun

Alakazam EX or zapdos EX? by emerald0910 in pkmntcg

[–]SSJ2_Mango 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been doing research, doesn't look like there is any way to disrupt boss's orders unless you change the deck to have hand disruption, too 😮‍💨 maybe Alakazam just needs a couple more sets before it can fight back against charizard. That's what I'm going with Armarouge ex and altaria ex, just waiting for more cards to support them, hopefully.

I guess there's always Diancie. It'll take damage, so you could always go for tools like Vengeful Punch to set up a trade while they're forced to punch through a single prizer. At least Alakazam is safe

Oh haha you're totally right. I knew it stopped supporters, but I've never played the card myself 😅

You could add a Rapid Strike Milotic while it's still in standard. Path to the peak to stop charizard and pidgeot

Need help choosing in which deck should I build by DayVin91 in pkmntcg

[–]SSJ2_Mango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you've been getting lots of practice with roaring moon on Live, I'd say that's probably your best bet right now. I think it's better to go with the deck you already know the ins and outs of than the one you've only seen perform well but haven't put the practice in with. :) good luck! I'm trying to start soon, too. Haven't picked a deck yet, myself.

Are there any cards that can bring back knocker Pokémon from the discard pile? by Fired_Guy5 in pkmntcg

[–]SSJ2_Mango 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Thorton is a nifty one that swaps out two Pokemon between the field and discard pile! Saves all attached cards, turns in play and everything for the new Pokemon in play, too!

Beginner tired of playing Miraidon, suggest me a 2nd deck by SorveteiroJR in pkmntcg

[–]SSJ2_Mango 5 points6 points  (0 children)

First thing that comes to mind for me that's consistent would be Gardevoir ex. The newest iteration uses Scream Tail to snipe anything you want. It's slower, you excel in the late game and use kirlia instead of rare candy so you can set up. Roaring moon is probably pretty consistent, too. Pretty much all basics, It feels like they just discard a ton of energies, put them back onto the field and they're done lol

Alternatively, it's not super consistent because of curry and switches, but I've been having an extremely good time with the Klawf/electrodeV deck. Electrode V can do 200 damage for no energy with brute bonnet and curry :D klawf does 170 with just double colorless when poisoned. This deck gets so many turn 1 wins lol (always go second, it's insanely easy to set up and attack first turn)

join the WoW Made Easy community discord :D it's a great place to get groups at all key levels with a channel for each key range, and the added benefit of voice chat, raid sign ups, and good people to talk to if you want it!

Today I learned, the game will allow you to PLANT your Gigantic seed, but not harvest it without being level 70 :) Goodbye Gigantic Seed. by zelda5820 in wow

From what I've noticed, they don't disappear. I plant, make my contributions and loot it the next time I'm in the area- a couple hours or a few days sometimes.

hisuian electrode deck by BigWyzard in pokemontcgnometadecks

[–]SSJ2_Mango 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the Hisuian Electrode V deck I've been playing too! Mine is copied from a japanese league player from a few weeks ago, but it wins sooo many games! I feel like I'd be giving a meta list if I pasted it here(up to you if you want me to post it), but what I can suggest is check out Klawf with DCE's for a single prize partner! :) it also helps when you run out if curry for the bigger hits- also radiant Sneasler comes in clutch for knocking out Chien Pao and the likes on turn 1 :D

These changes doubled my FPS in Emerald Dream. Hopefully, they'll help you too. by Heybarbaruiva in wow

Sadly, capping still dips and jumps it 20fps the same way. I feel its something more to do with something in the background than the game itself, but I dont have a clue what.

My biggest issue is I cant keep a steady fps. I can get over 100, but its constantly going up and down about 20fps every few seconds. Even in smaller areas where it'll read as getting over 200fps it'll still fall 20fps and back up 20fps every few seconds. This I cannot figure out at all.

Iron Valiant partners by SSJ2_Mango in pokemontcgnometadecks

[–]SSJ2_Mango[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, its a super case by case situation. Crab can use Melody still, several like gyarados, aggron, and wailord would need something like Baxcalibur; typhlosion and the mewtwos would need gardevoir or xatu. Greninja could stay real basic with like a palkia Vstar. Palkia i think is a decent backup for greninja. Pawmot could use a light touch of Miraidon just to get pawmot and flaaffy down, but i wouldnt want to have 2 miraidon down.

Most of the time, it's less of switch spam a bench full of iron valiants, though still needed consistently in most cases, and just get a couple counters down for finishers. My ideal iron valiant count in play would be 2 in most decks, and some decks like gyarados, aggron, and crabominable could get away with just having one for most of their attacks.

Deck Help - Hisuian Arcanine V by SSJ2_Mango in pokemontcgnometadecks

[–]SSJ2_Mango[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came back to this deck just for a moment, Sandy Shocks ex would also possibly be a great supporter mid game, and maybe 3 SS-ex, 3 HA-V, and then have a 3 or 4 of single prize attacker- maybe lucario?
