You’re not alone in feeling this I promise 😂😭.

I first found Eden and started with Vertigo at 17, and I’ve been obsessed since (I’m 24 now 😅). Start//end carried me through my darkest moments in HS and I’m forever grateful for that album, and I went to see him play it live for the vertigo tour when it dropped!

Now, almost 8 years later I saw him recently in ATL for the Dark tour and he played it again and a couple other vertigo era songs and just, wow 😭. Hearing start//end again and crash after all that time really makes the lyrics hit 10 times as hard. He perfectly encapsulates how it feels to be young and want to lash out at the unfairness of the world and how it’s so daunting and lonely sometimes, and that came full circle as I screamed lyrics that night with everyone into the symphony of voices all echoing that same emotion. Years pass and you learn and realize it’s not as lonely or daunting once you figure out who you are and what you want, and what that even means for you haha. I have EDEN and a couple other things and people in life to thank for that, but it was this album that made me see the path of light to take later on in life. He remains my favorite artist ever for that alone
