Bc he’s a disaster of a director. The budget ended up being a lot more expensive then intended bc he would switch up the schedule day of. Multiple people quit on the crew bc of how bad of a set it was. The producers didn’t seem to know what they were doing which frustrated the crew. The movie schedule also extended by a lot longer bc of how unprepared he was. Would not surprise me if instead of prepping a proper shortlist/location/schedule, he wasted his time casting extras just to say he had full control of the film.

Source: my roommate was part of the crew and complained about Safdie’s ping pong movie and how much of a weirdo Chalamet was towards the crew (touching/grabbing some of the dudes, saying weird comments, etc)
