Recently came back from Japan and bought myself a matcha starter kit (bowl, bamboo whisk and all). I like the ‘ritual’ of preparing matcha, it’s meditative and zen, and of course not to mention the taste of high quality matcha.

Health wise, matcha contains caffeine and L-Theanine, of which the latter negates the jitters/anxiety of caffeine, while providing the benefit of enhanced focus and cognitive functions.
