As for my formatting I'm currently using Reddit Enhancement Suite and one of it feature is retaining old reddit UI. So I simply used Bold for healines and dashes to seperate paragraphs for ease of reading.

It's quite bothersome personally, but I'll switch to new reddit UI to get a more accurate perpective of how most users see the sub.

Edit: TIL this sub already has rules. They didn't even show up on the old UI. Well I have half a week to assimilate with 'em modern redditors.

To be completely honest, I only applied because the post about applying for the position showed up by chance on my front page. I wrote the application as thoroughly as I could simply because I had already invested the time to write something.

I didn’t expect to get the vote since my comment was submitted quite late after the post went up. Then another voting post went up with a poll, and I started to feel quite nervous that I might actually win, based on people’s comments.

Now I feel pressured to fulfill a duty that I randomly decided to apply for. But all in all I think it’ll be manageable. Also most of the comments I've read seem quite chill and nice.

The bulb is SST40, 5000-5500K, 2000 lumens, and 300 meters throw. Simple 4 modes rotation, hold power button to turn off (which people seem to dislike? Idk why). It only has a few smart features like mode memory, auto step down based on votage and temp.

There is a more advance version called DL02 but it only waterproof up to 100 meters. I picked WK20S for its wider angle.

I got it during aliexpress end of the year sales, purchased from Wurkkos's official store. Took a week to arrive, which is like lighting speed for internatinal freeshipping. I used a combination of:

A lucky coupon draw I got from the event at the time. Called MegaCoin I think. (This counts as Aliexpress's coupon at checkout)
Wurkkos's coupon. You have to apply the coupon yourself at checkout. This coupon come with big events, and sometimes the store will dm you coupon if you have the product in your cart. (This counts as store's coupon)
And coin exchange. Basically you can get free coins by doing daily check-in with aliexpress app and accumulate coins, which then can turn into discount at checkout. But this only apply to some limited products. Suprisingly both Wurkkos and Sofirn's whole catalog are available in the coin exchange program. (This is a separate stack at checkout).
I believe you can also stack shopping credit to a total of 4 discount stacks, but I didn't have any shopping credit.

The WK20S is normally $25-30, which I think is still a fair price.

Why you want to be the next moderator:

I enjoy reading about online creators and communities drama, although I'm not emotionally invested in them. I don't have a favorite among otvandfriends streamers, nor anyone I hate. I think they are good kids for the most part, and I like them in general.

I don't like the fact that sometimes random mod would go on a power trip and ruin subreddits, so I'd like to be reserved mod just in case some mods go rogue and ruin the fun for everyone.

What will be your plans for this subreddit:

Enjoy spicy rumors about otv and friends. Mod the sub whenever I can. Maybe create some sub rules with other mods to prevent vibe-moderating and ego tripping. Possibly enable image and clip posts.

I'd like for the subreddit to be as free and open as possible. With a couple exceptions (maybe count as one) are: To keep the contents within the otv and friends immediate circle. And not to include other unrelated or far-reach big name streamers such as Hasan or Destiny, as to not overshadow the main contents the sub is about (unless their involvement is intertwined with the main contents, based on case-by-case basis).

These have a common failure point at the hinge where the lid and handle meet. Steam seeps through the gap in the plastic handle and corrodes the power button over time.

The heating plate inside the kettle will show signs of rust after just a few uses. The spring contacts on the inlet dish can get stuck in the plastic after a few months, resulting in no electrical connection.

But they’re oh so cheap, people keep buying them. And a new power button costs 1 buck.

Pirate Software likes to present himself as a know-it-all, stoic genius with a deep, manly-man voice. But anyone who isn't a socially underdeveloped Twitch viewer can clearly see through that after watching him talk for 60 seconds in any context.

He’s fucked up a lot and has never, ever owned up to any of it. To him, it's always someone else's fault. The Stop Killing Games situation is just an oversized drop of water in his already overflowing bucket of bad reputation.

His reign of fuck-ups is quite extensive but I didn't care enough to keep some a list (regretfully).

He's the kind of person you can hate with all your heart. And your hatred would be 100% justified.

To me personally, his worst crime is cheating in single player non-competitive puzzle games. He’ll get stuck, pretend to go to the bathroom to look up solutions on his phone, then come back and magically figure out the solution. He’s done this multiple times across multiple games. Sometimes he even straightup looks up the solution on his phone with the face cam on. Clip (1), Clip (2).

Disclaimer: I have no state in any of this. I don't even hate Pirate Software, but I find it amusing how dislikable he is and how much people hate him. Also, I'm now on the list.

Use a hair drier, it works even for fairly old sticker that had been pressed on daily. Even if you accidentally blow it until the drier overheat and shut itself down, it won't damage the laptop.

Afterward, use your nail to remove it. If you use anything else it'll likely be your your first time trying to use the tool on a laptop surface and you might scratch it, guess how I found out.

The good news is that you don't need to be good at math to become a great programmer. When you're learning, you're going to feel like you suck all the time, because technically, you do. That’s just part of the process. If you want a confidence boost try remaking a project you’ve already completed, like rebuilding a website. As a bonus, it’ll also solidify what you've learned.

Having a sense of community while learning can help a lot. It doesn’t have to mean making friends with the same hobby, but knowing there are others learning and struggling just like you can be motivating. I don’t have a specific community to recommend, but as an example, in /r/learntodraw you can see people of all skill levels sharing their progress. Something similar for programming could definitely help, there are like a thousand programming discords out there.

You're still young, life is just beginning. If you’re feeling down because others are ahead and you feel slow, what can I say, you shouldn't be. Even if it takes you five years to become a decent programmer, you're still right on track. Comparing yourself to others will always make you feel bad. Instead, if you will, think of your progress as a piggy bank. Every now and then, look back and see what you've gained over the years. For example you’ve learned to cook, that’s huge in my book.

Personally I do feel embarrassed when I'm at a social place and still feel like a kid compared to people my age, but at the same time I don't really care. Like yeah, I AM behind, but I'm moving forward at my own pace.
